My sister is the pickiest kid in the world but she is obsessed with the mango juice from here, and when I went to pick her up one he was in the process of closing. “I was craving a smoothie and empanadas when I stumbled upon this local spot near our shop. I made my own banana and papaya smoothie, and it was absolutely amazing! I also tried the spinach and cheese, as well as the chicken parm empanadas. I've never had such unique flavors in an empanada before, but I must say they were incredibly delicious and packed with flavor! “A friend of mine extolled the virtues of Shake Shack back in the day when they were in the park in NYC and had cameras set up so you could see how long the line was. Now there are bunches of them and they're all pretty good; some are just better than others. This one at EWR Terminal A is one of my favorite airport Shacks and I think does a better job than most. The atmosphere is very chill and they serve beer. Grab a window booth and watch the planes arrive at and push back from the gates.“

The regular size ones are $8 each, and they also had some special flavours at $10. I had some left over so I mixed with soda water for another yummy treat (highly recommend trying this). As you can see in the photos the drink I made the next day had a more oxidized colour, so you know the one in the store is REALLY fresh.

I will admit in my humble opinion, I feel the fudge on the pancakes should be optional or on the side. I understand if it’s a signature to make the pancakes different from other food spots but I personally prefer butter and syrup with my hot cakes :) I know I could have asked and next time I will. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Additionally, I ordered a juice and never received it but wasn’t charged so I didn’t make a fuss. This is the second time that happens…
