My sister is the pickiest kid in the world but she is obsessed with the mango juice from here, and when I went to pick her up one he was in the process of closing. He made an exception for me and reopened to make her a smoothie. NYC needs more pleasant interactions, and this is an establishment I hope stays for good 💕“

“I was craving a smoothie and empanadas when I stumbled upon this local spot near our shop. I made my own banana and papaya smoothie, and it was absolutely amazing! I also tried the spinach and cheese, as well as the chicken parm empanadas. I've never had such unique flavors in an empanada before, but I must say they were incredibly delicious and packed with flavor! “Been to so many smoothie places asking for #21 the health shake but nobody can do it like he does it, he’s very nice and understanding as well as quick with making your drink. I’ve experienced others who don’t pay attention to my instructions for the order or who take a while but he never fails to deliver the best smoothies quick. Definitely a must visit for great smoothies, wouldn’t recommend any other spot.“

“A friend of mine extolled the virtues of Shake Shack back in the day when they were in the park in NYC and had cameras set up so you could see how long the line was. Now there are bunches of them and they're all pretty good; some are just better than others. This one at EWR Terminal A is one of my favorite airport Shacks and I think does a better job than most. The atmosphere is very chill and they serve beer. Grab a window booth and watch the planes arrive at and push back from the gates.“

“so i ordered pancakes from here and while the pancakes themselves were quite good, they charged an outrageous amount for strawberries that were soggy and bland. if they used fresh strawberries then it would maybe be a 5/5 but if you like strawberries then perhaps you should go elsewhere. otherwise im sure you’ll have a great time with the pancakes. i also had a peach mango smoothie and that was pretty good.“

“The biryani was delicious! I ordered the dum biryani, and the portion was perfect for one person. The place is quite small and a bit cramped, and there’s no wash basin available, so you’ll need to use wet wipes. Despite that, the food and service were really good overall.“

“A local favorite for me! Food is always fresh, healthy, and delicious! Friendly and hard-working staff. I really enjoy the PB&J along with any of the smoothies. The specials are always refreshing to try too. Plenty of seating or you can grab and go. Definitely a 10/10 recommend!“

“Very good juice! Fresh juices in general tend to be pricey so if you’re getting one make sure it’s good quality—and these absolutely are! Super fresh and a great assortment of flavours. The regular size ones are $8 each, and they also had some special flavours at $10. I had some left over so I mixed with soda water for another yummy treat (highly recommend trying this). As you can see in the photos the drink I made the next day had a more oxidized colour, so you know the one in the store is REALLY fresh.

Store is really simple, literally just in and out for juice; not really anywhere to sit. Not a bash, just something to keep in mind. Owner was also super nice :)“

“My wife and I have had tons of Açaí bowls around the city, and we both agree Hawa Smoothie is the #1 Acai bowl in Manhattan. The bubble tea is also super good. “First time here. I'm usually a loyal Playa bowls girl because I'm a creature of habit but this place really impressed me. The place was very clean, there was one girl working and she had a few pick up orders to finish before she could start mines which was not her fault but it would have been nice to be in and out, I was 15 mins in the store. Most importantly though the bowl i ordered was amazing. I got the north bowl and they hook it up! Bowl was filled to the brim, they are generous with the Nutella and peanut butter as well as the fruit toppings. Way more than Playa use and i loved that they chop the fruit fresh for each bowl. I also that they have an option to create your own bowl. I'll deffo be back“

I will admit in my humble opinion, I feel the fudge on the pancakes should be optional or on the side. I understand if it’s a signature to make the pancakes different from other food spots but I personally prefer butter and syrup with my hot cakes :) I know I could have asked and next time I will. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Additionally, I ordered a juice and never received it but wasn’t charged so I didn’t make a fuss. This is the second time that happens…

Overall, I still enjoyed a delicious meal and the ingredients tasted fresh.“
