“If you’re craving sushi or hibachi but dread the long wait times at a popular hibachi spot, this spot is a game changer. It’s essentially a “Benihana Express” – same quality food, same fresh flavors, but without the hour-long wait for table.
The hibachi/teriyaki dishes are cooked to perfection – tender steak, juicy chicken, and shrimp with just the right amount of char. The fried rice is buttery and flavorful, and the vegetables still have that perfect crisp bite. Sushi rolls are fresh, well-presented, and packed with flavor, rivaling any big-name chain. Someone mentioned, “bite size sushi” it’s true!
The best part? The service is quick and friendly, and take-out is a breeze. You can enjoy the same quality hibachi and sushi you’d expect from a large chain, but in a more relaxed, mom and pop restaurant vibe! Have it to-go and enjoy at home! Totally recommend!“

The service was top-notch from the moment we walked in. The staff was warm, attentive, and fast without being pushy. You can tell they actually care that you’re having a good experience.
Now let’s talk about the star of the show: the Magic Salmon Rolls. Absolutely incredible. The salmon was buttery and fresh, perfectly paired with a unique combination of flavors that made each bite feel a little indulgent. Easily one of the best specialty rolls I’ve had in a long time.

“Hibachi is a dining experience unto itself and Sumo is a very good hibachi place. The staff was attentive and seated us right away. They took our sake (it’s BYOB) and decanted it into a nice serving piece. It was a Monday and a slow night. Our chef was terrific, lots of fun and a great cook. We had the filet and lobster and he cooked everything perfectly to order. Both were tender and delicious. Prices are fair given the quality.“

“I can't say enough good things about Blue Sushi! 🌟 The Specials are exceptional and are indeed a special treat. Each dish is a delightful surprise, bursting with flavor. The Chef is great.
But it’s not just the Specials that shine; the simpler items on the menu are equally stellar. The Baby Bok Choi Sautéed in Garlic is a must-try —perfectly packed with flavor! The Live Scallops are indeed life-affirming. I found that the appetizers set the tone and can also be ordered in combination as a medley on their own to form a fantastic meal.
The music they play is incredible too! My partner and I enjoyed using our Shazam App to identify song titles and new music artists. It was so fun, and now we have some new music to enjoy at home and work.
Every visit has been a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend Blue Sushi to anyone looking for an incredible meal. Can’t wait for my next visit!“

“Went out with family and just had a great time.Yes it’s outdated, we had red solo cups with plastic tablecloths but the food is amazing.Nice size portions Although they were very busy, food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

“Osaka is a classic! I recommend really any of the hand rolls, but my favorites are the spider roll, sweet potato roll, any of the vegetarian rolls, the eel roll is good too! The edamame is a must on the side, and their lo mein + fried rice is really good too. I have only gotten take-out but have always been really satisfied with the freshness + flavor + everything I have eaten here!“

“My husband and I with cousin Sid and Fiancé all enjoyed our luncheon meals.I ordered a cup of Won Ton Soup and Veal with Mushrooms & Bamboo Shoots that came with Fried Rice. I ate up every delicious tender bite! My husband also finished his plate of Beef w Chinese vegetables, and liked his cup of hot and sour soup. Everyone liked their lunch choices, and two of us asked to pack up the remainder - some orange chicken, and chicken w cashew nuts.“

“My wife and I patronize our favorite restaurants, usually for a specific dish that they serve that is better than similar dishes offered elsewhere. Every Thursday we go to Szechuan Tokyo specifically for the Negimaki, the Japanese dish consisting of broiled strips of beef marinated in teriyaki sauce and rolled with scallions. While it is not equal to the Negimaki to which I was accustomed when living in New York, it is the best to be found anywhere around this neck of the woods. Since it is BYOB, we usually stop at the Foodtown, located in the same strip mall, to pick up a bottle of Sake Wine to complement our meal. The service here is excellent - very friendly, fast, courteous, and efficient. The salad and miso soup, which are included with the meal, are always fresh and very tasty. My wife and I each get a California Roll, which is also quite good, as an appetizer before eating the Negamaki entrée. Every course arrives at the table at just the right time - never rushed. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for such an enjoyable dining experience.“
