“We were there for a wonderful Caribbean themed day party. Because it was so hot outside, we first sat inside and had a full lunch as a group of 6. Decor was nice. (The round tables would make a great board game night event one day). Service was good and accurate, medium speed. Everyone liked their drinks. Food was bar food, yet freshly fried and very tasty. The calamari and pretzel bites got extra wows from the group. The outdoor area (which we moved to, by 5pm) provides a good set up for DJ/dance parties. Wish it had more shade for the evening hours (maybe a retractable system in the future?). Scenery is nice and green. Parking is hard for events and spills to streets. Was my first time here. Would come back.“

“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

We got 3 different meals and shared them so we could try a variety of things on our first visit.

The short rib hash was outstanding, the empanadas were to-die-for, but the thing that stuck out the most are the Philly rolls…the combination of flavors didn’t make any sense with the description, but wow, sooooo delicious!!!

And the owner is incredible!

“I loved it! And I think you'll love it. I bought the Sweet pear and the a Pineapple and green apple juices. Bomb, I make my own juices and I will still come here. Owner also gave me a sample of the butternut squash soup, delicious. The heat is hot so watch out Lol An their supporting a school from the looks of their business card, thats amazing. Family owned too! Go and try something, they have more than juices and smoothies.“

“Rush Bowls is a must try! They have so many bowl and smoothies options. I had the Dragon bowl with kiwi, strawberry, nutella and honey, it was picture perfect and delicious. The owners are super sweet and welcoming. They’ll even make custom bowls or smoothies if you’re tracking calories or macros, and save your order so you can get it again later. They have games to play while you hang out and dog treats. Overall, great people, great vibes, and really great bowl!“

“I grew up in NYC so I’m no stranger to halal carts. Since I’ve moved to JC (which I know is only across the river, but the food scene really is different), I have yet to find my go-to halal spot… until now! I paid $10 for a chicken over rice. The chicken was so juicy and they were very generous with the chicken and sauce. So delicious but also so dangerous that I’m so close by“

Sankofa has become of hub of the community, often hosting social and cultural events, in addition to participating in community outreach in support of many causes.

The owner, Jessica Troupe, has poured her heart and soul into this cafe, and it shows. It is one of the best coffee shop in the area.“

“We had the pleasure of dining for the first time at Due 360 in Summit. From the moment we walked in, Luis the manager and Brianna welcomed us and seated us promptly. Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. I ordered the Tapas- Polpo Ala Plancha, Steak Yuca Frities and Crabmeat/shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The portion was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. I highly recommend it and the experience is worth it.“

“Pana House Restaurant is a fantastic spot for Venezuelan food! I had the pabellón, which was delicious with tender shredded beef, black beans, rice, and fried plantains. The Venezuelan sample platter was also great, featuring tasty arepas, empanadas, and tequeños. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend checking it out!“

“Great experience at CAVA, in Springfield, NJ. The facility was exceptionally clean, and every employee was welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. The manager, Engel has built an outstanding team. He’s doing a fantastic job leading by example creating a positive environment. Remy and Preston super nice line members. Esther the cashier greeted me with such a calm and welcoming smile reminded me what great Customer Service is supposed to look like. I also have visited the Bridgewater location and unfortunately, it has a lot of room for improvement. The level of cleanliness, teamwork and Customer Service at Springfield is on a complete different level. Keep up the amazing work Springfield team.“

“Went for the first time today, and let it be known we will be back. Saw an ad for their "El Gringo" and had to try it, it was amazing! Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese piled high on a soft roll! Would easily get again, wife and son both loved theirs! Ordered some pork belly as well, nice and crispy, full of flavor. The gentleman working was very friendly and offered all the sauces if we needed any, he was excellent. The venue is well lit and had a "home-y" feel to it. “Amazing coffee and matcha! Haven’t had their smoothies but they look amazing! Price is comparable to your Starbucks and such but the quality and customer service is far superior at Compound. The pickup window is very convenient if you’re in a hurry. Also, Morgan is the best barista and all around a great human being! My husband and I drive 30 minutes every weekend to get here and it’s worth it!“
