“Just because it’s shaped like a bagel doesn’t make it a bagel. I am there every Wednesday morning where I buy 8 bagels. From the glass you can see the giant vat in the back where they ACTUALLY boil their bagels which is the correct way to make a bagel and not just round dough in the shape of a bagel. These bagels are the best bagels I’ve ever had in New Jersey since moving from New York. The woman behind the counter is always so nice. Their bagels for the quality are well priced. I have plenty of bagel spots around where I live but I drive a few extra miles to this place.“

“These bagels were, in fact, amazing! I couldn't decide and went for the sesame. Both sides were covered, so bonus if you're like me and eat a bagel half at a time. I also got the veggie cream cheese. Delicious. Maybe less stuff mixed in, but great flavor. The apple turnover was also delicious. A good amount of filling and not too messy, but still flaky.

We stopped by around 9AM, so everything was still fresh. My only regret is i didn't get an extra bagel to go. I'll be back.“

“One of the best bagel places in town. Here for $10, I can actually get cream cheese and a good serving of lox on a bagel, and even add onion and tomato on it. Normally, I'd have to go to NYC or make it myself to get a good cream cheese and lox. Also, based on one of the other reviews, I tried the Fat Marlena. Great breakfast or brunch wrap if you want something filling and not greasy. If you want something lightly sweet to take home, their French Toast bagels are great toasted with butter. (we had them with some maple butter on hand from a farmers market, and it was a-maz-ing!) Not in the mood for a bagel today? They have tons of other great breakfast options all under $10!“

“Ok so being Google keeps asking me to review here I thought and nice Sunday morning coffee and bagel would be good. There is a big parking lot being it’s part of a shopping center. Walking in no confusion as to where to go to order. Everyone seemed very nice and helpful. I think it took me longer to make my coffee then it took to make and bag my bagel. Let me stop boring you with the BS stuff let’s talk bagel and coffee. I have been to a few bagel shops and I have to say Manhattan Bagel has the softest bagels. I did just get a buttered salt but wow the outside was mildly crunchy but like I said nice and soft in the middle. As far as coffee I tried their fall blend pumpkin spice and it tasted very deluded, not to much taste. They didn’t have French vanilla so I went with the pumpkin. Would I go back 100% the bagel was fantastic“

“First time getting a famous NJ/NY bagel and it didn’t disappoint. My friends and I were blown away by the freshness and thiccness of every bagel. The shop owner and worker were both accommodating to all of my questions even though we walked in close to closing time. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!“

The bagels were really good (like bagels are supposed to be…dense and chewy not bread shaped into o’s) and the ladies behind the counter could both have been nicer! Worth a visit!! Breakfast was included, and the staff asked what room we were staying in and welcomed us to a nice selection. As said on their site, if you used their parking service, it'll cost you 60. It’s amazing how some of the smallest, most unassuming spots turn out to have the most delicious food and Bagel 1 is absolutely one of them.

From the outside, the place might not grab your attention, it may even seem like somewhere you wouldn't go, but don’t judge a book by it's cover! The food coming out of this kitchen is delicious, fresh, flavorful, and made with care. If you’re hunting for a legit bagel or breakfast sandwich, go here.

What really stood out during my visit was the service. Wael, the gentleman working the front counter, was exceptionally polite, attentive, and patient. His attention to detail and willingness to listen closely to my order, especially as someone who likes to customize their breakfast sandwiches, this was refreshing. In many bagel spots, staff can seem rushed or distracted, but Wael made the experience easy.

Whether you're a classic bacon-egg-and-cheese kind of person or someone who likes to get a little creative with your sandwich, Bagel 1 delivers quality without the chaos. The spot is low-key, but the flavor is next level.

“This place is awesome. Take it from someone who grew up in Brooklyn around the corner from Bell Bialy and Hot bagels. Heartland 2 are just as good and made the same old authentic way. 👍“

“Ok so for one, be ready to pay like 20% more because this is a mom and pop and they don’t have economies of scale like fast food does. But if you want a Time Machine back to a time when diners were diners and brand names weren’t everything, then come here! The lady was so nice , I asked if they give their delicious macaroni salad with anything that is bought, but it was only with some items from the menu. But I ordered a veggie quesadilla (off menu) and she gave me a cup of the macaroni salad! Just out of the kindness of her heart. And the food was ACTUALLY really really good!

“I live in Austin, TX, and I love how I can have authentic New York bagels delivered to my front door. I am a new customer, and I love Just Bagels. I love their customer service, they answer their phone, and they answer my questions on Facebook. I will be using them again, and again. I love everything about them so far. My boyfriend is the bagel eater, and I ordered 2 dozen for him. The flavors we got were Everything, Sesame, Cinnamon Raisin, and Blueberry. He is in love with their blueberry bagels. “$3 Nonsense fees when you order online for pickup. For a $13.75 order, I am charged an extra $3 or so. Why am I penalized for choosing NOT to phone in? Most restaurants view phone-in calls as costly and occupying staff time. It's my fault for not noticing before I placed the order. I used the website Preferred By Business, which is usually their POS vendor site, which should have the lowest expense for the shop. Lesson learned, call in your order. Side note, their breakfast sandwich has 2 thin slices of pork roll and 1 slice of cheese. It was pathetic. Bagel was fine.“

“Five star all the way .. Grilled chicken mozzarella, roasted peppers and mushrooms on a wrap , Toast toast .. Top shelf n one of the best .. Sign out in front with a big fruit salad on it .. Asked for a small fruit salad , she said that was only for catering , I was like OK no big deal .. When she brought my food out, There was a small salad on my plate .. she went out of her way to give me a small food salad anyway .. That’s going out of your way to please your customer .. 🙏🏻 For the people that don’t know n never ran a business , It’s hard ! On top of dealing with the public, but the high cost of product today . They are there to make a profit to continue doing good and being available for us If you got a problem, go see the manager ! Don’t blast them so fast and hurt their business ..
