LOVE this restaurant. Authentic Indian food. We visit this restaurant at least once a week because it is so good! Have tried other Indian restaurants in Essex and Morris counties and Bay Leaf is hands down the best!
Service is always wonderful too which is an added bonus!

not sure how fresh the food is. my order was very oily and had a lot of fatty pieces instead of chunks of lamb - i was sick within 24 hours. disappointed since this is my only location for this cuisine

I've been to a lot of restaurants recently, but this one felt different, in a good way. The flavors were balanced, the portions generous, and the staff incredibly warm. A special shout out to Terence and Max
