Don’t judge this book by its cover - - plain exterior in a small strip mall. You can tell it is a family-run business. “It's hard to find new Thai places that'll blow your socks away, yet Siwa Thai did exactly that. We ordered the Siwa Fried Rice and a green curry - savored every single bite. Spice level 4 had us sweating but so worth it. The cold coffee was a tad too sweet and they were kind enough to get me a new one with less sugar. Mark took care of me from the moment I sat down at the bar and made sure everything was to perfection. Mark is an absolute asset to the Springfield location. The food was okay but the service is really what makes people come back. I rate his service a 10/10 because he really cares about the people having an excellent dine in experience. I would also like to mention the manager who worked alongside Mark was impeccable as well. The two of them is what made my experience very pleasant and I will come back again due to their service. “I absolutely love playa bowls. I just love fruit, so this is my go-to place. Regardless of whether you order a bowl, smoothie, or juice - it always is presented great and tastes amazing. The service is always friendly and welcoming. I give the atmosphere 3/5 stars only because they seem to have different staffing every time I’m there - and sometimes (depending on who’s working) they can be rowdy and obnoxiously loud - but recently it’s been a lot better. I know it’s just teenagers being teenagers, so as long as they’re doing their job properly (which they do) it’s not a deal breaker for me. The place is always clean and the fruit is always fresh, that’s all that matters to me.“

“Wow! What a cozy place! I stumbled upon this restaurant right of the highway and was so pleased with my experience. Fireplace creates a nice ambiance, the music was at appropriate moderate volume, and I was offered assistance by Kristen and Kevin right away. I got new strawberry poppyseed salad and my favorite chicken avocado chipotle sandwich. Everything was delicious and fresh ?. It was not crowded (maybe because it was between lunch and dinner), overall very relaxing and pleasant vibe. I will definitely be back.“

I've never had a bad meal from here, nor have I ever gotten sick from food borne illnesses. The service is, sometimes, a bit nonchalant/laid back. “Ever since my friend and I first saw that the Hmart plaza was getting a poke bowl spot, we were dying to check it out. We finally got the chance to visit tonight and try the food. We went around 8:30 and had the place to ourselves. Right off the bat, I was very impressed by how clean the store was. There’s plenty of seating and the interior is quite aesthetic. There are bathrooms at the back of the store, where it connects to Mango Mango (something to take note of if you want to get dessert after).There weren’t any kiosks, so you had to order at the front (as an introvert this scared me a lot). I customized my bowl and it’s similar to how you order at Chipotle — you pick a base, protein, toppings, sauce, and you get free miso soup (which was a bit salty but I won’t complain about free food!). I also really liked how they had clear labels for all the ingredients, which made it super easy to order.Our food was not bad. I liked how we can customize our bowl and get a variety of different flavors, but I felt the balance of rice to fish to toppings was off. There was too much rice and not enough protein or sauce for my personal taste so it ended up a little bland in some bites (I also had a lot of rice left over). Overall though, I really enjoyed the visit and recommend you try this spot out for yourself.“

“Just had a baby shower here on 11/5 and could not have been more pleased with the turn out. Jennifer, the even coordinator was super helpful and listened to all my requests. She was more than flexible and made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone had great things to say about the food and you were able to tell it was freshly made. We had beautiful weather so they really allowed us to have access to outdoors and it felt private and intimate. I strongly recommend this place for an event!“

“Hard time finding "excellent" Chinese food. This was good, solid but nothing that screams come back here. Ordered (2) spring rolls not realizing there were (3) spring rolls in each order. This is quite a bargain. They were good, but needed to be crispier wrapper. Had that been the case they would have been excellent. Ordered the broccoli with garlic sauce and an order of beef with snow peas. The broccoli was not what I expected. I actually expected just broccoli with a nice garlic sauce but this had mushrooms, peppers and carrots. This could be a hunan thing so no points knocked off for that but I would ask for broccoli only on the next to go order. The beef was for my husband and he seemed to like it. Overall, it's decent. As others have noted, the interior does not encourage dining in but it is likely that this is a business that caters to take out.“
