“MJs has several locations and Spotswood is the closest to us. Bartenders are fast and friendly. The wings and the pizza are banging. The best Garlic Parm wings I've had. Always big wings cooked perfect and the right amount of flavor. Pizza is a great bar pie. The burgers are big and juicy. Plenty of TVs $3 Miller Lite drafts. Perfect for a have or a night out with friends.
I wish they would open a spot in Piscataway. I know a perfect location on South Washington avenue.“

“My family and I have had the great pleasure of having dinner at 618 in Freehold NJ on several occasions. It has quickly become our favorite restaurant! Everything on their menu is wonderful and we’ve tried so many appetizers, main courses and cocktails at this point. It’s rare to find a cool, comfortable restaurant with so many great cocktails and incredible choices across all menu selections. And, if that is not enough, their staff is truly a dream team. The owners, manager, hostesses and servers ALL go way out of their way to make everyone feel like guests having a special dining experience in their happy home. Dining at 618 is a truly delightful experience—it’s quite simply food and service heaven! The owners and staff ALL really care and it shows. Their kindness and care to our 96 year old dad and us every time we dine there is so beautiful. It lights him and us up so much. “This place has really gone down hill. I think the reason they keep it open is because it’s right across from the movie theater and they have a captive audience. Most of the time, you can walk right in and sit, but the good times end there. Usually, they take forever with orders, the food comes out wrong or has been sitting in the window for 10 minutes and comes out like something from Wawa’s hot and ready food by the checkout. The waiters typically look like they’re running around blindfolded serving 20 tables on their own even though nobody is there. The drinks are yummy like Willy Wonka Made them, and I like the brownies and Jack Daniel’s chicken even if they don’t call it Jack Daniel’s anymore. At least they serve food late unlike the tavern downtown. Five stars.“

“Our meals were very good as well as the drinks. My daughter loved her mini smash burgers for dinner and said it was so tasty. My wedge salad with grilled shrimp was amazing. The salad itself was so good, the toppings were delicious. My husband had the ribeye and he cleaned his plate. Overall, great food, good service. Thank you.“

“This was my first ever time at a Stewart’s Restaurant, and I can undoubtedly say that I was NOT disappointed. There are so many food items to choose from and they even offer a vegan menu. At this location specifically, the staff was very welcoming and were quick to check in on us when we needed something. “For a hotel, it certainly was refreshing. Traveling a lot you don't always get the best food selection.

With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“

“We’ve stayed here annually for 16 years. It’s a pass through for us. One night but friendly and helpful staff good food and we seen the same FD staff for the past 12 years. Even during Covid we stayed, they cared even though the kitchen was closed they advised us where to get take out. It is a comfortable, friendly place to stay.“

The fact it was served already cut, apparently was the first clue to be prepared, this may take a minute. Flavor was better, but still needed to ask for s&p. Whipped potatoes amazing! French Onion soup as well. Rib appetizer out of this world! Don't buy the chicken nuggets although the presentation basket was a nostalgic touch. Macncheese side was incredible! Recommend the Wood-double Bourbon.“

“It seemed like the restaurant was closed but my friends and I was able to order some drinks at the bar, then we moved to a table for dinner. Our server Dominic was very attentive and helpful. Chicken tasted a little too dry, but all the other food we ordered was amazing; especially brisket! It was so tender and tasty. Two of the desserts we ordered with a cup of cappuccino were phenomenal. We were so full after finishing the bbq combo plate, but sure did finish both of the desserts ? “I came here with my husband. Drinks were great. He ordered a Caesar salad and I ordered their Hot Nashville Chicken sandwich. My husband laughed because I had no idea that Nashville hot meant HOLY HOT lol. But I was not disappointed. This was the juicy, best chicken sandwich I'd had anywhere that I can recall in my 32 years.. And I worked in food service for 13 years. The service was also phenomenal. There was a rowdy bunch of younger ones at the bar that eventually got asked to leave. But she kindly let us know that we were welcome to move our table if we so desired.
