This place is a true seafood restaurant. So many places in LBI say they are seafood restaurants but have very few seafood options. Mud City Crab House is a very busy place so expect a wait but it is worth it. I was there exactly at 11:30am and the place was packed by 12:30p including outside. The cocktails were perfect and the raw oysters were fresh. Fish options are plentiful and the crabs options are great. The coconut cream pie was out of this world.
My wife and I absolutely love this place! We make it a point to visit once or twice a year, and it’s always worth the trip. The crab cakes are outstanding, and my wife can’t get enough of the clam chowder. If it were closer to us, we’d probably be here all the time! The food, the atmosphere, and the experience keep us coming back year after year. Highly recommend!
