“I had pastitsio in Greece that wasn’t as good as this! My friend got the lamb; it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our pistachio baklava was the perfect end to our meal! The prices are a little high but the quality and care makes it totally worth it.”

“Frequent customer, but always blown away with the freshness of their summer menu. The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. The Mexi-Avo toast was so filling and the flavors melted together so nicely. Don’t forget the decor inside is so cozy, boho/havana vibe and perfect for a date or girl’s brunch. 10/10”

“Walked in and felt like Shaqtin a fool but I didn’t. Vibes when you walk in were great. Love the decor and setup. A lakers Shaq jersey and a signed Big Chicken Shaq jersey on the wall. A sign saying “Did You Dig It” as you walked out. Had the original chicken sandwich and the Texas toast, both were good but the Texas toast sandwich was definitely better to me. Fries were good and perfectly cooked and peanut butter chip milkshake was 🔥. I’ll be back for sure”

Whether we get take out or dine in, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is fresh and flavorful, the music is calming jazz and the booths are so comfortable. We have many favorite dishes @ we especially love the thickness & taste of the raita. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we also enjoyed it 25 years ago when it was Begum Palace. “Definitely one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten! I had the Crab Cakes Benedict, with a side of bacon! The food was so incredibly delicious, I didn’t want it to to end! So worth the 30 minute drive from Bergen County! I’m already planning on a return visit!”
