“French toast was good but the what was supposed to be scrambled eggs was a plain omelette which was overcooked nothing scrambled about it and the sausage links would have been better had they not been split and burned on the split side my fathers home fries were cold and under fried waitress was super nice“

“My daughter and I have been wanting to try the soup flight for a while. Today was the day! We both had the daily lunch soup flight special. We both ordered corned beef sandwiches which were delicious and came with fries, coleslaw, pickle, and the soup flight. For the soup choices I got the cream of potato, split pea, and vegetable beef. My daughter got cream of potato, tomato orzo, and vegetable beef. They were all so good! We can’t wait to go again! Looking forward to coming for dinner and trying the salad bar which also looked delicious. Very friendly service as well!“

“Can’t count how many times we’ve been here but here is my review of Silk City.
The food was excellent. Can’t go wrong in any order. Loved the ambiance. The drinks were good. It’s good to have a reservation as this place gets packed every time, but they could accommodate you to the diner section. Service at the diner section usually takes longer. Lots of parking around the area, but it’s better if you take Lyft or Uber. Staff were amazing and really friendly.
We will always go back to this place.“

“I was worried that Oceanos was gone, like so many great places, another victim of the pandemic. A place called Avenue Diner took its place, and hey, guys… it’s the same family and servers and great food!! Yay! Had dinner with my daughter there this past Friday and was so pleased! The service is every bit as terrific, homey, and individualized as I remember. The food is still amazing and the prices reasonable. My daughter had roast turkey with plenty of stuffing and gravy, which she loved. The salads were very fresh and the dressings were perfect. The rolls and herb butter were warm and fresh. I had salmon which was broiled perfectly, moist with an herb butter sauce. The vegetable was done exactly the way I requested. We took an omelet home for someone who missed the outing and he pronounced it the best restaurant omelet he ever had. Finally, I took a quart on vegetable soup home and ate it the next day. I swear it was my grandmother’s old recipe - large cuts of multiple vegetables including zucchini and carrots and cabbage and more in a perfect veggie broth. Wish I had more right now! So, give Avenue Diner a try… it is worth your time and money. It made me smile!“

“Ordered a quart of chicken orzo soup just before closing.When I picked up the order the owner jested that he has something else for me.They gave a second quart of chicken orzo soup and an additional quart of manhattan clam chowder all for the price of one quart of chicken orzo.Thank You very much!“

“The food is good, but you probably shouldn't get it delivered. Our last two orders have been wrong. Today's order of a burger, fries and coleslaw was delivered with a giant container of onion rings instead of the burger. Like how does it go out the door without the entree? Really great place when you go out to eat though, just avoid them on GrubHub.“

“I’ve been to Monarch a bunch of times and finally decided they’re TOO good to not leave a review. We brought my Grandpa today and it was a great experience. It’s impressive how quickly we were seated and how quickly the food comes out. They must be hustling in that kitchen and the wait staff has always been so pleasant & polite. And the food is *chefs kiss* and hefty portions!! Thank you for your service!!!“

“We've been coming here for about a decade, and always liked it, through name change and management change. The food is good, the portions are large. If, however, you have a larger party (Wife and kids and I are a party of 7) don't go on Sunday!! They prioritize the smaller parties and make the larger ones wait a ridiculous amount of time. it took 1 hour and 20 minutes before we actually got our breakfast. in the meantime, 3 tables near us had come in , gotten their food and finished. First come, first served SHOULD be the rule, but here, it apparently isn't.“

“The food was solid. Our server was efficient and pleasant. The holiday decor was tasteful and classically done. The initial sticker shock of the prices was quelled by soup or salad being included with my entree and the same plus dessert for my wife's.“

“Recently moved back to the area... Im a single super busy guy and prefer good food! I've been here 6 times so far. Regardless what I ordered (take out) was 10-15 minutes even when I dined in my waitress was so friendly and cool. Everything I've got was extremely good! The soups too are awesome! 5☆☆☆☆☆“

“First time visit. Great first impression. Wanted to try something different since we were visiting a new diner and our server. Michele recommended the Tuscan omelette which is made with sausage, red peppers and pesto. Wasn't sure what I thought about pesto on my omelette but the people sitting right behind us were eating one and highly recommended it so I was all in. Definitely glad I gave it a try. The pesto was not overpowering and complimented the entire meal. Would recommend this one to give it a try. Thanks you Michele for the recommendation“
