Most ingredients are organic and locally sourced — and you can taste the quality and care in every bite. We started with the beet salad — sweet, creamy, bright, and crisp with a lovely herby note from fresh dill. The cucumber dish was pure umami: tamari, vinegar, creamy tofu, crispy fried tofu skin, green onion, and seaweed. So fresh and so layered. My hubby had the eggplant — smoky, rich, with a perfect hint of spice. I had the broccoli, slow-stewed to a risotto-like texture. Deeply comforting, totally decadent. I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. “I eat here a lot and love it! The food is delicious, all organic, wholegrain and 95% vegan. And…it’s super cheap. And their containers and plastic wear are all compostable. If you are lucky you might be in time to get an excellent $.99 muffin. They make juices, always have 1 or 2 soups, a daily special as well as a veggie burger, tacos, and totally customizable bowls and salads. They sell kombucha by the ounce-bring in your growler. The service is usually very fast and the upstairs dining area gives a great view of shoppers. Plus there is free wifi and outlets to charge up. My favorite is the jammed yam.“

Prices seem high but when you get the goods, it all makes sense. The two of use ordered a variety of tacos (6) and took two home with us because we were stuffed.
