I have enjoyed all of my experiences with Nakorn. It's definitely a more accessible Thai food restaurant , but works well since this is Summit and not NYC. The service is great and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The curry and noodle dishes are wonderful and there seems to be something for everyone on the menu. I'm so glad there is a decent Thai place in this town.
Beautifully decorated on a side street (Bank Street) in downtown Summit, Nakorn Thai restaurant has a nice menu selection to please both vegetarian and meat/seafood diners.The restaurant has a modern elegance to it, with tables spaced apart enough to have a nice private conversation. There is a long table in the center of the restaurant which can seat a large party.The music was too loud and whiny. First impression is that it's expensive! The decor is beautiful. With the chandelier in the middle of the restaurant. The murals on the walls add to the authenticity of being in Thailand. Min dish was $18 with a chicken protein. Beef would be $20. The food was packed with flavor. The service was as good as can be... excellent. Food came out piping hot. Then again, it was not busy at the moment. Excellent for a date night.
