After our Labor Day 70mm screening of the Odyssey in King of Prussia was abruptly cancelled, my top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I were a bit glum and needed a pick-me-up. Bougie steakhouses usually do the trick, so we called around to a few nearby ones on our way back and Roots was thankfully open. Off we went down the PA Turnpike and ultimately into Summit.

I have a passing familiarity with Roots; I knew a co-worker years ago...

This place is spectacular the food is truly special and the service is beyond compare. We were lucky enough to go here to celebrate a very special occasion and Blake and the wonderful people at this establishment made it a night that we will always remember.

I’ve been to this place in my last trip to new York in 2022, and I came back in 2026 it’s a trendy spot but they’ve managed to maintain the authenticity of the place. The best thing is that they are all Greek and they know how to make seafood. Unfortunately for me they are closed till the 9th of September definitely will visit again once they are back.
