Let me start by saying this place is for the people. The owner Jimmy is the nicest guy ever, and has been running this place as long as I’ve been alive. The crazy part to me tho is the prices haven’t changed since, with the bill for me and my friends always being around 30$! The food is big portions, delicious, and the service is top tier. While most other diners have gone down hill, changed over the years for the worse, every time I walk into Golden Grill...
The staff here is very friendly. The breakfast is huge and delicious. This is one of the few places you can get grits. Everything was fresh and hot off the grill. Definitely recommend this place.
This is my go to spot whenever I visit my friend in New Jersey. She already knows, take me to the mini IHOP! The place is always filled and yet, we always find seating! I know there are other restaurants that may look more appealing to the eyes, but the food here taste very good with nice size portions at a reasonable price. The friendly service is a plus as well. I couldn't give it 5 stars because it's not my mama's cooking but it damn sure ain't my daddy's...
