“Sweet Place! Great Food! I had the Enchilada trio, one steak, one chicken, one cheese with the medium heat sauce (Green Tomatillo} it was Excellent! I'm a huge Mexican foodie.. and I loved the refried beans and rice. the guacamole was fresh with notes on lime... sooo good! Staff was friendly and attentive, very clean.. I'll be. back.. the food going to other tables ... I must try!!“

“I randomly stumbled into this place last night, and I was honestly really impressed! The Quesabirria were delicious! The tortillas were crispy, the beef was tender and flavorful, and the cheese added a nice richness. The flavors of the onions, cilantro, and lime tied it all together, making for a wonderful eating experience! And let's not forget about the dipping broth, which was packed with flavor! Dipping the tacos in the broth followed by the hot sauce was amazing!
The service was also great. The lady at the counter was really friendly and helped me feel at home. I would highly recommend this place for some really great birria! I hope I get a chance to come back :)“

“Not flashy, simple, deli kind of set up. almost hole in the wall. My first impression was....ummm..naa..but since my wife picked up the place, I kind of kept quiet and was willing to try it. Boy was I wrong!! This place turned out to be AMAZING. Probably one of the best Mexican food we have had. Ask for a burrito with BBQ sauce inside it.“

“Edit: Raising this from 1 to 4 star after speaking with the owner. It seems this was an outlier situation and they were very kind and receptive.
We came in at 8:20 PM (place closes at 9). The woman behind the counter seemed very detached and exhausted so I tried to be sympathetic. My burrito was a magnificent slop, not rolled properly at all. The soda fountain was out of CO2, so all the soda was flat - I made a comment but the employee didn't care even though she had charged me for the drink. The food wasn't bad but nothing remarkable or exciting.“

“This is Red Bank’s hidden Mexican food gem! Fantastic quality food with the freshest ingredients. As a person with a gluten allergy, this was the easiest dining experience with a knowledgeable staff that made ordering food a breeze. We had the pezcadilla, guacamole and chips, al pastor tacos and carne asada tostadas. Everything was made to order, delicious, and high quality ingredients. Myra our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about where ingredients are sourced and the mission of the restaurant of wanting to create a community connection with customers. Leaving with a belly full of amazing food, and excited to come back and check out the test of the menu.“

“El Ranchero is my favorite taqueria in the bayshore. The tacos are the best in the area and the mole is delicious. The food is fresh and the service is fantastic. I recommend this to anyone! “Tacos here are the best in the area! They never disappoint and I’m always full with the 3 tacos that come in a plate! My favorite ones are the pastor tacos but the shrimp ones are really good too! The 3 leches cake and their aguas frescas are recommended too if you have a sweet tooth like me!“

“We ordered food on a Saturday evening and within ten minutes the food was ready. Got home and everything was so good. Quesadillas, burrito bowl, birria tacos and street corn. Our two year old ate so much of it. Prices weren't terrible. We would definitely go back.“

We ate here Sunday, 10/06 just before the finale of the N.J. Hispanic Film Fest conclusion at the The Vogel Theater.
The place is small, tight, but the food is good!
Food orders were chicken tacos (Tacos de Pollo) and chicken sopes (Sopes de Pollo). Both very good, filled with a lot of seasoned chicken.Tortillas are hand made.Salsa was good, as well as the side of Guacamole; more than enough for two people. Prices were fair. And the place is BYOB. I would recommend this for a quick, reasonably priced, authentic Mexican meal.
Bathroom was updated and fairly clean. Service was good!

“We stopped in here for lunch & the entire family loved their meals. We had a nice time here, the place is clean, staff is speedy & professional. We were able to park on the side. Their us outdoor & indoor seating. The food looked presentable and it all tasted fresh. Will definitely be returning here when we’re back in this area.

“An authentic Mexican restaurant with a variety of options. I’m not the most expert in Mexican food, but I really liked what I had there. The food was fresh and the lamb tastes great. The inside atmosphere is so energetic and very colorful. The staff were nice and accommodating. Outside street parking is available but usually full during rush hours. Prices are ok, most are average, a little bit overpriced on few dishes. Overall very nice experience and recommended.“

“Wife had chicken enchiladas, kid had birria tacos and mango flan. Wife gave her food a 5, kid gave his tacos a 4 or 5 but the flan a 2. Said he would eat the tacos again but not the flan. Server was super nice on phone. I ordered food to go. Place was cute and quiet. A lot of choices. I didn't eat cause I had a late lunch.“
