“Sweet Carolina Barbecue Tims River is the best! The brisket is tender, juicy and flavorful!!! The cornbread is vey moist it melts in your mouth! The best baked beans and Cole slaw are delicious! Those are my family’s favorites! Their pulled pork and chicken is also very good! They also make a delicious whole chicken!!! The food is great! The service is wonderful! They go out of their way to help make a delicious meal for your party wither it is for 5 or 20+ people. I have had them cater my parties and everyone loves Sweet Carolinas Bbq!! “Catered my son's birthday party from the Hickory Hog yesterday. We live 45 minutes away but we just had to have their food for his party. It traveled really well and everyone raved about the food. The ribs and the teriyaki chicken with grilled pineapple were big hits... BUT the pulled pork and the corn fritters were the crowd faves!!! The owner is awesome and the customer service is top notch. “We had Castaways cater my daughter’s engagement party. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Chicken franchise, broccoli and cavatelli, roasted potatoes, mozzarella and tomato and shrimp cocktail that was amazing!!!! I’m definitely going to use them again!“

The staff was friendly. They timed our courses well. The food was cooked the way we ordered it and had a good flavor. They are generous with their portions. They offer lunch specials during the week. We will definitely eat there again. The Restaurant is on a major East/West road and is close to the Garden State Parkway. There is a Hilton Hotel next door so on Weekends in the Summer it can get crowded. So it is better to make reservations. We went midweek about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes after they opened and it was not crowded. It was getting busy by the time we left.

Parking: The restaurant has plenty of parking around the building. They have handicapped parking spaces on the side of the building.“
