“Outstanding experience on Sunday March 24, 2024. My wife and I were in the Toms River area and decided to visit after not being there for several years. Wonderful decision. Classic "old school" restaurant that seems to have "gone with the wind". Lovely venue with a roomy dining room... linen covered tables and napkins; "conservatory type" large "atrium style" windows completed the ambience with appropriate uniformed staff to assist. Every diner that afternoon seemed to be having a delightful meal. My wife is of Italian descent and rarely chooses an Italian restaurant for dinner out. When she does ... it's because they have items on the menu that she doesn't prepare. Today ... not seeing Zuppa di pesce on the menu... she asked our server Antonio, if it was a possibility. He answered, "I'll ask the chef ... if he has the ingredients, he probably will make it". Fortunately he did. As meals are prepared to order... the wait was worth it. (39$ which included baby lobster tails) We had warm semolina bread and appetizers of baked oysters and a beet salad with wonderful bourbon manhattans while we waited. (BTW craft cocktails were $11.50 each. Robust glasses of Ruffino Chianti at 8.50 each... Thank you). Entrees did not disappoint; in quality, quantity and price. I had broiled rack of lamb, (4 "medium temp" meaty chops) served with a "nice portion" of mashed potatoes and vegetable medley: (broccoli, squash, zucchini and baby asparagus) 41$, which didn't disappoint. Cappuccino and double espresso with a suggested snifter of sambucco (with 3 coffee beans) was a nice finish. Thank you. We'll be back!!“

“Great food, a little pricey as dinner for 2 with a 20% tip came in just under $200 (and we brought our own wine). I had the lobster bisque and the crab cakes entree (more crab than the usual fillers you get). Wife went for the duck confit ravioli appetizer and the lollipop pork chops entree. Nice romantic atmosphere is an upgrade over the old basic Reddington's decor that was there a decade ago.“

“It was a bit hard to find the restaurant (for an out of towner) in the dark, as there is no signage facing the street and the property includes a catering hall. We parked at the wrong side of the facility and went into the catering hall. One of the waiters directed us to the restaurant, whose entrance was on the other side. The ambiance is nice there - dimmed lighting and modern furniture. After we ordered, the service was a bit slow. The portions were generous and tasty. The Chicken Marsela was delicious but overcooked and the edges were chewy. It needed 5 minutes less cook time.“
