“I ordered the chicken sandwich. Tenders were very fresh and piping hot. Normally this is a good thing, however, it's not good when you use frail, fancy lettuce. This is not an upscale restaurant that needs to elevate a basic chicken sandwich. I have never used green leaf lettuce when making a sandwich or burger at home. Lettuce is put on a sandwich for crunch or texture so the appropriate lettuce is iceberg. You also never want to put steaming hot food on top of the lettuce, especially if you are using a limp lettuce like green leaf. It cooks the lettuce and is gross. FYI, people eat with their eyes first so even though the sandwich tasted good the look of the lettuce made me lose my appetite. I had to remove it and I replaced it with the hardier iceberg lettuce. Please stop doing this. No one likes it, just look at the photos. This is what you are serving people. And when I pay $9 for a sandwich only it just makes it worse.“
