“Today we took what we call a NJ Adventure. To Glassboro, NJ for Mexican food. This place is amazing. The food was fabulous. We ordered the queso with chorizo and the guacamole with chips. I had the Al Pastor tacos and my husband had the Al Pastor chimichanga, both with black beans and rice. Flan and Churros for dessert. I had the chocolate covered strawberry cocktail that was delicious. Thank you Javier and Frankie for a wonderful lunch.“

The family that runs those places are very polite and attentive to your needs, there is a traditional atmosphere, it reminds me a lot of a small Mexican that you would find within Mexico. “My wife brought a box home from El Mariachi for Valentine’s Day, nothing says love like tacos. Well, I fell in love with the birria tacos. In the last 6 weeks, we have ordered from here every Saturday. The birria, al pastor, and chicken tacos are delicious and full of flavor. The rice is perfectly made, and they have the Coca Cola in the bottle, made with cane sugar. Definitely a place you need to come and try!“

“Yesterday was my first time here, I celebrated my 56th Birthday with my daughter, sister & nieces. The dinner was amazing. We started with appetizers, guacamole and chips and steak nachos. I had the chicken fajitas, they came to the table still sizzling and were seasoned to perfection! We brought in a cake and they had a special candle and sang. This was an added surprise! “I've been coming here since they originally opened, the food was always great but the service was always slow so I'd only come here or order if I was okay with a wait. 4 out of 5 times I always order the breakfast nachos, the exact same way...sub chorizo for chicken, sour cream on the side and jalapeños. I went there earlier this week, ordered what I always do, but when I get the check I have two add-ons that were not previously mentioned to me. had they been, I would have said that's ridiculous and nevermind. an extra $1.50 for a side of sour cream, an extra $2.00 for jarred jalapeños on top of my breakfast nachos. I understand that small businesses are struggling and they're probably trying to do what they can to keep their doors open but you have to be transparent with customers if suddenly you're going to tack an extra $3.50 onto someone's order without letting them know upfront. There's a new Mexican place in Williamstown that just opened that's been getting raving reviews, so that will likely turn into my new go-to. I don't appreciate being sneakily nickel and dimed and don't think I'll be back.“

“Portions were very small (Fagitas) we ordered the steak chicken and shrimp. Barely any chicken or steak but 5 skewered shrimp on top to hide the fact there wasn’t much meat in the dish. Also loaded with peppers and onions because they’re cheap. Also ordered a spicy guacamole that wasn’t spicy at all had green peppers in instead of jalapeños. Then I was charged 2.00 for a tiny container of pepper sauce to make it hot. I think the other Plaza azteca in Washington twp. Is much better and different owner because they’re franchised. Wouldn’t recommend this one at all“
