“Excellent restaurant serving a variety of Mexican and Mexican-inspired dishes, and some Sinaloan options like aguachile. It's hard to go wrong with any of the guacamoles, starters, or tacos. The aguachile and ceviches we've tried have been good. Was pleasantly surprised by their cocktails. Particularly like the Fridita and the Paloma. The couple that runs the restaurant is very kind. Nice ambiance too“

“We had dinner at this joint on our way back home from a long trip. From the moment we arrived we had a very welcoming young waiter. He went above and beyond and was very professional, very friendly and very helpful. Great customer service and food was phenomenal!! The atmosphere was amazing..very satisfied I had a great experience overall.. on top of all of that, I must say that the food quality,taste and portions was very well for the price.“

“El Delicioso is right by Washington Park in the Heights. I've eaten here a few times. This latest time I got the chicken nachos and I think this has been my favorite meal so far. It was a good portion and the chips are homemade. I've gotten a burrito before my least favorite and a pork quesadilla. My husband has tried several meat burritos but the meat was too spicy for him, we are babies when it comes to spice. But he got a shrimp burritos with rice and potatoes and loved it. I also got a passion fruit aqua Fresca which hit the spot. There is indoor and outdoor seating which is nice when the weather is nice but people mainly get food to go.“

Parking: There’s a parking lot on 39th street close to bergenline ave. I recommend to park there if struggling parking“

“Very good food, mom and pop atmosphere and clean. People were nice and food was authentic. Make sure to try the red and green salsa! Food comes so you season as you like. Just ask for salsa on the side. Portions are huge so come with an appetite (even then you'll probably leave with leftovers)“

“The tamales are great variety of flavors. Parking there is difficult but if you are a local then the local is great! Just behind Bergenline on New York Ave. The tamales are fresh and the orders come out quickly. We love the mole and comino flavor best but all are excellent!“

“Consistently good food, I’ve never been disappointed by this place. I moved to Weehawken in 2021 and every single time I get food from here it’s magnificent. Yes the prices have gone up but so have the prices of materials for restaurants, I’m certain they’re increases are necessary for them to just, function and pay their employees. Regardless of that, I will keep returning. My only gripe is with the tortilla soup, that one is really really expensive for the amount that you get. But the street style tacos, the Birria tacos, the quesadillas, the enchiladas, the guacamole,… It’s always incredible.“
