I am a Panera Bread connoisseur. It is one of my favorite “fast food” places. So, to give them some grace, I understand that they have more people coming in because they are near Kean University; however, because of this, they need to have better systems in place to efficiently handle the flow of traffic. The place is not only crowded, but not the cleanest either. I rather go a couple of miles to the one in Linden or Edison.
I work in the area and this has been my go-to Panera for a while, which makes today’s experience even more disappointing.
I placed an online order for an iced coffee and a bagel, and the app showed that my order was ready. When I arrived, the order wasn’t there, so I waited because I assumed the app may have been ahead of the store. After waiting, I politely asked an employee about my order.
