Randomly popped in here for breakfast and had one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a while. The polish power bowl and country fried pork steak with gravy are INSANE. And the owners are super sweet, too. Will absolutely be back.
It’s my first time visiting the quaint Roadside Diner. Walking into this diner is like walking back in time: very nostalgic.
I sat at the counter and was greeted by a polite and friendly server named Angelo. He served me great coffee and my breakfast sandwich with red potato home fries was delicious!

After wondering for years where Bon Jovi’s iconic ‘Cross Road’ album cover was taken, I finally looked into it, and found it was this place. The Roadside Diner is located at the crossroads of Route 33 and 34 just beyond the traffic circle. The name and setting of the album cover was a metaphor for Bon Jovi’s career transition to the 90s and beyond. And wow….is all I can say, some of the best New Jersey diner food and best food period I’ve ever had. It’s rare you...
