Mexican Restaurant La Catrina & Liquor is a fun place with very good food. Guests have called it an absolute gem in Wanaque and an amazing place to visit. The atmosphere is fun, inviting, and authentic, with hand-painted décor, vibrant colors, and festive details that make visitors feel transported somewhere special. Everything ordered from the menu was great, bursting with flavor and made with care. Favorite dishes include Fish tacos, fajitas, Burrito bowl, Mole Poblano, Tacos Pastor, Tacos Birria, Montaditos, Maduros, Queso Birria, Carnitas, and Flautas. The churros, Flan, horchata, and tamarind drinks were also enjoyed, and the chips were housemade and warm with yummy salsa. The Catrinarita mocktail, sangria, and Margarita were good too. Staff is friendly, attentive, and nice, and the service was phenomenal and efficient. The restaurant is well decorated and clean, great for a larger party, and a great edition to the neighborhood. It is a go-to Mexican restaurant and a place you need to visit.
