I am so happy we were able to provide such high quality and creative food, but also, to have had the opportunity to just enjoy the party while the Kate and Ally staff handled it all from set up to clean up! “Arriving early for our 5pm reservation, we had planned to enjoy the happy hour specials. The cocktails were nicely priced and delicious. Particularly worth mentioning was the Suzy's Margarita and the Flora and Fauna, served with a sprig of fresh rosemary. Refreshingly nice on a hot summer night.
The outdoor bar area is very Pinterest-worthy. Loads of gorgeous flowers, butterflies, and comfortable seating.
The bartenders and staff throughout the restaurant was so friendly and pleasant.
We were seated in timely manner. Our table was underneath a bookshelf that had an interesting selection of cookbooks that I was tempted to pull down and start perusing. Cute simplistic decor.
We ordered the margherita pizza and Black Garlic Caesar salad for the table to share. The crust on the pizza had a delicious flavor! Cooked perfectly! Hard to go wrong with pizza. The salad was large leafed pieces of romaine with a delicious dressing. Not overly chilled, which we all liked, as it seemed freshly made and was more flavorful that way.
I shared the Lumache Pasta and the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe with one family member. The others had two of the specials. All of us enjoyed our entrees.
Overall, it was one of the nicest dinners we've had on LBI over the years. It was upscale without being pretentious. All of the staff we so welcoming. Everyone we passed on the way out, thanked us and wished us an enjoyable evening. Little things like that leave customers with such a good vibe.

“My daughter and her husband had their wedding reception at the Daymark on 10/27/2018. There was a nor’easter the night before into Saturday morning. There was flooding everywhere! Management and staff did an incredible job rearranging the room since we had to change the wedding ceremony to inside, instead of at the Lighthouse. The food and staff made it a memorable night.
