“I visited on Sunday with my Dad. We were very happy to see they had a lunch buffet option advertised in the window for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As we were the first people here, Dad took a video of the wonderful display they had laid out for the buffet. The food looked great and tasted just as good. This place is great. “This was our first time trying Ramen so we have nothing else to compare it too. We saw this place had great reviews, and we both love soup so we gave it a try. I had the vegetable ramen and my husband had the beef ramen. We both thought our ramen soups were very good! Next time I’d like to try one of their Thai soups. “We had my mother’s 80th birthday party here and had a wonderful time! The restaurant is nicely decorated: an elegant Chinese theme with a modern touch. The wait staff were very attentive and accommodated to all our needs even when we were doing the decoration. Party food portion is huge. We had so much left over! The owner even came out to greet us and made sure everything is good. The Karaoke room finished the celebration with a high note! Mom was so happy and we’re dancing in the room!“

“We walked into this place last minute on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday since another sushi place had been unable to accommodate gf. We could not have stumbled upon a better experience! Elan at the sushi bar made us a custom omakase tasting all gluten free and so delicious. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really created a one of a kind meal while making us feel special and taken care of. We ended up with about 15 different courses i believe all fabulous and ended with a special ice cream sushi dessert. Speaking of palpable… in their journey before returning to Middlesex County, in Highland Park this time around, they have made their menu even BETTER, which seems almost impossible for a place so legendary, but it’s true. Welcome to Mr. Pi’s 3.0! Placing a restaurant into legendary status is neither something I do easily, haphazardly nor willy nilly. For, you see, I have quite literally tried sushi all over the world. I’ve had sushi in Europe, the UK, the South Pacific, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and yes, Japan.
