“Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

“We had a 50th wedding anniversary dinner at Metuchen Inn and it was perfect. The staff there is amazing. Everyone was so accommodating and they went above and beyond to make it a great evening. Anyone who is looking to host an event should consider Metuchen Inn!“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. A wonderful experience!“

“This place is neat! It's also comfy, they have a small patio outside and their food is really good! We went for an event and I kept seeing people picking up pizzas. If I were local, I'd go there for pizza as well. Their bartender was very polite and didn't give me an attitude when I ordered a drink. It's hard for me to remember names, so his patience with my description was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend!“

The staff is always welcoming, professional, and accommodating and truly understands the catering business and what it takes to throw an exceptional celebration. “My wife and I had Sunday brunch. I had the bulgogi skirt steak with kimchi. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium/medium rare and delicious! The kimichi was good, and the spicy cucumbers were excellent. My fried egg was cooked exactly to order. My wife had the portobello sandwich which she really enjoyed. We got the Bloody flight and all four were really tasty and very interesting. It was a busy afternoon, but our service was still fantastic, and our food was out promptly. I highly recommend Project PUB!“

“Great restaurant! I had the caesar salad with salmon. The greens were super fresh, dressing was very flavorful, and the salmon was cooked to medium, just as I had ordered.
Our large group had lunch in The Dining Room’s private space. We had many servers, but it was mainly Ana who took care of us. She did an excellent job and is a real sweetheart.
The only downside was the coffee, which was terrible (and not cheap!). I hope they have improved the coffee by now.“

“I came here with my husband. Drinks were great. He ordered a Caesar salad and I ordered their Hot Nashville Chicken sandwich. My husband laughed because I had no idea that Nashville hot meant HOLY HOT lol. But I was not disappointed. This was the juicy, best chicken sandwich I'd had anywhere that I can recall in my 32 years.. And I worked in food service for 13 years. The service was also phenomenal. There was a rowdy bunch of younger ones at the bar that eventually got asked to leave. But she kindly let us know that we were welcome to move our table if we so desired. We are definitely coming back again.“

“What an amazing restaurant hidden away in the delta hotel in basking ridge. Some of the ABSOLUTE best service I’ve ever had, and the food was insanely good. I was here locally for work and I didn’t bother going to any other restaurant, it was that good. Highly recommended give it a shot and you won’t be disappointed.“

“It seemed like the restaurant was closed but my friends and I was able to order some drinks at the bar, then we moved to a table for dinner. Our server Dominic was very attentive and helpful. Chicken tasted a little too dry, but all the other food we ordered was amazing; especially brisket! It was so tender and tasty. Two of the desserts we ordered with a cup of cappuccino were phenomenal. We were so full after finishing the bbq combo plate, but sure did finish both of the desserts ? I'm glad this place is open for the public. Will definitely comeback ??♀️“

“I recently visited the District 7 Restaurant & Bar and had an amazing experience. The BBQ chicken wings at the bar were delicious. What stood out the most was the exceptional service provided by Edei, who made the best Old Fashioned cocktails in New Jersey. Highly recommend this place for a great experience!“

“I did not like the new color and furniture in the main dining area it looks so depressing with black and grey. The outside dining seating too casual and uncomfortable with metal chair s and tables. And disappointing not to get service in the outdoor comfortable loung area with at least snacks and drinks. Service was not as good as they had before“
