“My family and I have been frequenting Savory Selections Catering's Fish fry since we moved to Scotch Plains. It is one of our favorite dinner places. Felton Jones always has fresh food and a friendly greeting. Everyone should check it out! Tonight!“

Lucy made sure to make the occasion a special one, recomended a few entrees to my parents, and brought out a dessert for us to sing happy birthday without us even asking. She also told us which desserts were her favorite and we chose 4. Overall it was a great time and when we go back we will request her to be our server.“

“Tracy was out waiter. She was fantastic. She gave us the history of the restaurant and made some great suggestions. I'm not a huge guac fan but the tuna tartare with that layer of guac on top was fantastic. The steak frites were excellent. My husband had the dry aged burger, it was juicy and tasty. It was our first time there but it certainly won't be our last.“

On the day of the event, the tables were set perfectly, the space was great for mingling and comfortable for eating, the servers were on top of everything, and our guests are still raving about the food. “I tasted Bullhorns Burgers, and it was sooo good. The burger was super juicy and packed with flavor, with fresh toppings that made every bite satisfying. The bun was soft, the meat was perfectly cooked, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. It felt filling without being too heavy, and the fries on the side were crispy and delicious. Definitely a place I’d go back to when I’m craving a really good burger. 🍔😋“

“Delicious food. Great service by Sydney! It started with amazing honey bread at the table. Flatbreads yum, especially the one with fig topping. Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

“We were there for a wonderful Caribbean themed day party. Because it was so hot outside, we first sat inside and had a full lunch as a group of 6. Decor was nice. (The round tables would make a great board game night event one day). Service was good and accurate, medium speed. Everyone liked their drinks. Food was bar food, yet freshly fried and very tasty. The calamari and pretzel bites got extra wows from the group. The outdoor area (which we moved to, by 5pm) provides a good set up for DJ/dance parties. Wish it had more shade for the evening hours (maybe a retractable system in the future?). Scenery is nice and green. Parking is hard for events and spills to streets. Was my first time here. Would come back.“

Food was DELISH! ! !
My cheat dish (fries), were cold but I ate some.
Eye opener drink was everything.(I think that was the name of it)

“Wanted to taste a new Punjabi restaurant in Central New Jersey and found this place through Google maps. Read their reviews and wanted to surely taste their food.. parking was a bit tight but fine . Location voice it is slightly off the main areas in Central Jersey.

Service could improve.. They forgot some order… they got garlic naan after almost 30 minutes.. .. Punjabi kulcha was the best . Super super good . Punjabi thali was also good . Garlic naan did not taste good… and so did paneer Tika Masala.. It was very average…. Lassi was really good…

Overall, it was a decent experience.. wanted to give 3.5 but gave a 4 .. for the price vs quality factor.“

“Great restaurant! I had the caesar salad with salmon. The greens were super fresh, dressing was very flavorful, and the salmon was cooked to medium, just as I had ordered.

Our large group had lunch in The Dining Room’s private space. We had many servers, but it was mainly Ana who took care of us. She did an excellent job and is a real sweetheart.

The only downside was the coffee, which was terrible (and not cheap!). I hope they have improved the coffee by now.“

“We have eaten at the new Carriage House a few times since it recently opened, and have been impressed overall. The food has been consistently good, and the Carriage House is quite lovely. We have tried chicken, fish, and pasta entrees and have enjoyed them all. The overall service is good, but as with most restaurants, they have some very seasoned staff who are excellent, along with some relatively new staff who will benefit from more experience. It is an excellent choice before or after a performance at the Paper Mill. We hope they continue service when the Paper Mill is not offering performances.“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. “This place is neat! It's also comfy, they have a small patio outside and their food is really good! We went for an event and I kept seeing people picking up pizzas. If I were local, I'd go there for pizza as well. Their bartender was very polite and didn't give me an attitude when I ordered a drink. It's hard for me to remember names, so his patience with my description was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend!“

“Frenchy's is such a fun, pleasant dive with bar food and drinks. Often they have music that is played so loud that you can't talk. Parking can be a problem. Small lot and street parking. Oh, and part of the movie The Wrestler with Micky Rourke was filmed there.“

“I was there on October 24, 2025 Friday. I had dinner that day. The food is always delicious and cooked to perfection. I love sitting on the patio. It's a great atmosphere.“
