In reference to another review complaining about no potato at the carving station and the timing of food being put out, everything was precisely as described on the menu posted online when you made the reservation, including seamlessly closing off some breakfast stations and opening some dinner stations at 3 o'clock. “Went here on a Monday with my wife. The storefront is kind of tucked in behind another building so you can't see it from the road. Basically you have to plan to go there, rather than wander in aimlessly. The restaurant was not crowded, so we had a seat and were able to place our orders right away. The restaurant is clean with plenty of room to move about. I had an angus burger baha style and a side of Spanish rice and my wife got the angus burger as protein on top of a salad. The server brought our orders promptly to our table and commented that he had never seen someone order a burger baha style. Frankly, the flavors blended very well, in my opinion. The Spanish rice was delicious and came with little bits of chouriço. My wife enjoyed the freshness of the salad as well as the portion. Enough left over for a lunch. We will definitely be back.“

We started eating the food although good was very salty if you have health issues do not go here. This was our first time so we didn’t know. I told the cook when leaving & he seem to get upset, he said that soul food restaurants are usually high in salt, I disagreed, he told me that maybe this wasn’t the place for us, but if you are trying to bring in customers & this was our first time, I might be inclined not to come back just because he said what he said, but one of my brothers said he would give it another chance & so would I & just tell them to dial it down on the salt. I had the ribeye steak & eggs, I have never gotten a steak from anywhere that was that salty I couldn’t eat it all, my husband had the catfish, sister n law had the whiting fish both very salty I liked the grits & eggs, I also had the snack fried shrimp which was good. The crispy fish tacos may be the best I've ever had and I've gone back for them a few times. As someone who doesn't typically like clams, the clams on fire has an incredible heat to them that masks the actual clam taste and I love dipping the crostini in the sauce. Our favorites were the Buffalo Cauliflower and Arancini. Both pizzas were also super tasty. The crunch of the thin crust made it so enjoyable. We ended our night with a sliver of Tiramisu.
