So looking at some of the earlier concerns about freshness, I can say that has been fixed. I got a dozen donuts and everybody, did how fresh they were. Everything was delicious and well made and they were ready when I got there.
I came to buy a Bavarian cream filled crumb cake early this morning to bring for my office and found out I had to order ahead. Luckily, the woman working the front counter was able to help me and was so kind and pleasant the entire time she was assisting me! I'm very grateful for the excellent experience. I can't wait to come back for more pastries!
I love Gencarellis. I always go to the Bloomfield location. I went to the Wayne location on Mothers Day and I was very disappointed. First of all, seems like the entire football team was working that day. Like 5 teenage boys who had no clue what was going on. They had no idea which cookies or cakes were what, on top of that, they had barely any cookies left! On Mothers Day at 1:00pm?!
