“I have been going to Sonoma almost weekly for over a year now. It started off with taco Thursdays and their delicious margarita specials and has now turned into exploring every menu item possible. I am consistently impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Incredibly delicious every single time. I am gluten intolerant which can pose challenges. The kitchen and staff have been amazing In accommodating my food allergy. I highly recommend Sonoma on any day of the week. It very quickly became my favorite go-to restaurants.“

To complement the meal, the Green Citrus Iced Tea was refreshingly crisp, and the classic Tiramisu provided a sweet, satisfying conclusion. Not to forget the excellent Mimosa and robust Cappuccino that were the cherries on top of a fantastic dining experience.

The food was amazing, and the presentation was on point. We started with the beef empanadas, which are a must try. “Contacted the Queens Room for a party of 15 the day before a memorial at St. Michael's and the owner, Antonia hooked us up. The service was on point and the food was delicious. She suggested pre-ordering appetizers for our guests which came out promptly after our drink orders were in. Antonia made herself available via email and phone just in case we had a change in plans which was comforting on a day that was difficult. We had a vegan, vegetarian and a gluten free guest and there were filling options for all of them. I highly recommend The Queens Room for the service and food. This will be my family go to from now on.

Kid-friendliness: We had a four year old and a 2 year old and we were given a high chair and the kids enjoyed their meals.“

“One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Stayed there for 3 nights and tried Breakfest sandwich, breakfast burrito and avocado toast. All of them were delicious, especially the avocado toast. Very fresh and well seasoned. Totally recommend.“

“A shoutout to Effy's Kitchen on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. Recently I’ve taken to looking on the web for restaurants not far from my son’s and daughter’s-in-law apartment and ordering some food specialties to have delivered to them every once in a while. (I moved to Italy four years ago) I know with so many things still locked down in NYC that smiles can get a bit tough to come by. I’ve found spots that have come through with good treats like sweet-potato fries and onion rings, Burrata and Prosciutto with truffle spread on pane carasau, prosecco, special cocktails, craft Pilsners and so on. Last week I did a search for Fish and Chips in the area, found three or four places and came across Effy’s. My son and his wife are super-fans of London and had missed out on a trip there in May so I figured it could be something they’d enjoy — and hopefully buoy their spirits. My only hesitancy was whether their Fish and Chips would be really good and even get CLOSE to what they’ve enjoyed on trips to London. I took a flyer on Effy’s and placed the order for two portions to be delivered as their dinner Friday night. It was delivered on time — and what a great feeling to get their messages afterward: “Oh my gosh it was so good! Thank you. I can't believe how fast I ate it. Lol. Honestly up there with one of the best fish and chips.” And “The fish and chips were amazing. We ate way too fast. It was different with a bunch of smaller pieces as opposed to one large piece but that actually probably helped it stay crisper, less greasy and hotter. We will definitely keep this one in our records.” A Dad who lives an ocean away can only do so much in practical ways, so seeing all this made me really smile. Thanks to Effy’s Kitchen for making it happen as well as I could’ve hoped.“
