“Tonight I had the pleasure to dine at Bici restaurant in Ramsey, NJ. From the minute I walked in, I knew I was going to like it! You are greeted in such a warm and friendly manner. One of the owners, Marcello makes his rounds around the room speaking to his customers and making you feel at home. Everything I ordered was delicious and the waiters are so polite and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere and I will be back again. Thank you staff for your hospitality. It’s a BYOB. It’s a small restaurant with outdoor dining. Definitely 5 stars!!!!!“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. “Excellent place, I have pretty much given up on buying lunch out because the disappointment ratio has become so high but today I decided to give it another try and just deal with the disappointment of another overpriced less than good sandwich. I work all over northern NJ and it has become very hard to find a real Italian deli however, today I stopped into Angelina's and although I already knew what I wanted I decided to ask what they recommend incase there was a special or maybe they have a best seller. They recommended "the Salvatore" which was exactly what I was after. The sandwich was the correct size and packed full of cold cuts. They didn't do the usual "let's keep making the product smaller but charge more" that you see everywhere. They make a true sandwich and charge a reasonable price. if you look up Italian deli in the dictionary there should be a picture of Angelina's its exactly what anyone who is over 40 years old remembers as a true New Jersey Deli. Thank you for a great lunch! I can't wait to get another job in that area so I can stop in!“

“Saggio is a far and away a main staple of the neighborhood and has been for years. I've been here many times and have never left unsatisfied.

Is it the best Italian you've ever had, especially in a city like New York? Probably not. But they're insanely consistent and the service is warm and friendly--especially their bar staff. They have a lot of employees that have been there for years and very much care for the clientele they serve and they make an effort to actually remember you.

I'm a fan of their frequent rotating dinner specials that change from season-to-season. They rarely miss. I've also never had something off of their main menu that I've ever disliked, and I love to try new things, so it's nice to have a wide spread to let you adventure out, but you can always find the regular go-tos as well.

It's a relief to have somewhere that you can trust like them in Hudson Heights.

The wife and I are a big fan of their bottomless brunch on the weekends. Their back patio is a gorgeous little cozy nook in the middle of the city that blocks out all of the noise from the busy street in front of it.

Since they changed out the old tables to booths, the ambiance has felt very cozy. Vibes are on-point.

If you come back frequently, you'll see a lot of regulars at the bar during happy hour, and people aren't afraid to engage in conversation, which is abnormal (and welcome) in recent times. I've randomly met some pretty cool people.“

“Every time we go to Lavagna, the owner and his staff are always gracious and accommodating. This past weekend, my family and I were looking for a place to go after my Mom's wake. It was after 8:00 pm and we thought we would try Lavagna, knowing that they may not be able to accommodate the 12 of us as is was late and Friday's are usually very busy. We asked and they went out of their way to seat us as close as possible and served us with a smile even with two picky kids in tow. The food was delicious, as always. Thank you Lavagna staff for a relaxing, delicious comforting meal!“

Eggplant rollatini and pasta with vodka sauce are always delicious, and seafood entrees are especially good (always fresh and portions are generous). Our server, Edward, was attentive, friendly, and helpful. One of our favorite casual neighborhood restaurants. Highly recommend.“

“This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!“

“My husband and I had another terrific meal at Broadway Bistro last evening.
We ordered from the special prix fixe menu that had so many great choices, it was hard to choose.
We settled on the scallops over polenta and the spring rolls with teryaki to start, and the panko horseradish flounder and grilled shrimp salad. Desert was the poached pear with raspberry sorbet.
Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The wait staff is friendly and extremely efficient, and just make dining there such a terrific experience!“

“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. Yesterday, when we got our order to Sloatsburg, there was an omission in the order ( we really should have checked before we left). As always, Dom’s went above and beyond to make this right. They drove my order to Sloatsburg and included several delicious extras! Their catering always makes our events delicious, but yesterday they made it extra delicious. Dom’s has amazing food and even better service.“
