“Hands down the best Italian restaurant in New Jersey, best food, best service, best ambiance. Had two specials, a string bean with cherry tomatoes salad, and a chicken stuffed with cortina cheese, both superb. Double espresso hot and strong. My three guests and I shared two bottles of an Amarone, excellent. Not cheap but you most certainly get what you pay for. This visit did not use the bar, but it is gorgeous with a back lit onyx counter, great place before or after the meal.”

“For my birthday my son and I ordered our dinner for takeout. Absolutely delicious. I had the avocado salad appetizer special (enough for two) and the Gnocchi Bolognese special (enough for two) and my son had Chicken Parmesan. The bread was fantastic as well - still some leftover. We ate in our dining room with my china. A special night for sure. Thank you Trattoria Tuscana! (we look forward to our leftovers as well)”

“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.”

“I love coming to Tandoori Chef for dinner. The restaurant has 4 booth-like tables and has excellent service as well as a nice expansive menu with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This authentic Indian restaurant has a very friendly staff that is accommodating when asked for recommendations or extra pitas or sauce. \n\nAlso a great take-out restaurant with food ready in 20 minutes or less. Plenty of parking in Maplewood Village.”
