Amazing place. Randomly found this spot on Google maps. Saw Costa Rican food and was pleasantly surprised. Usually on a road trip in an area one doesn't live by, you get stuck with the usual corporate franchise options. Always one to try food not mundane, Costa Rican checked my boxes. Edit: I returned and spoke with the manager that was very polite and Refunded that purchase. I was able to try another Apple turnover and it was fluffy, fresh and everything you expect! She even gave me one to take for the road. I will continue to support them, especially after how they handled it.

At the price you pay for these pastries you expect something fresh especially on a Saturday…. Halfway through my Apple turnover, I looked down to see mold....

My wife and I went with the kids and we loved the food today. The location, the decor, the presentation, and taste of what we ate was amazing. The ladies were so sweet and even gave our kids a coloring book to engage them while we waited. Kids loved their grilled cheese sandwich.

My only improvement point and request would be to offer a few more vegan or vegetarian (eggless) options. I know the avocado toasts were customizable but would love to see a (v or vg)...
