“It was really slow when we came in it was just us, the food was pretty good honestly. Just wish there were a little bit more refill checks but it's not like it ruined the experience. Everything looked clean and organized. Beautiful view of the beach.”

“My wife and I decided we wanted to check out places we’ve never been on the Jersey shore this summer. We found this place first. Lucky us-we chose their opening day to try it. We were immediately greeted by a drunk man telling us not to waste our time as he staggered out. The staff handled him with ease-we decided to stay and check it out. They had normal first day growing pains with staffing but the service and food didn’t reflect this. Everything we ordered was available, hot, and tasted fresh. This place has definitely taken a spot in our favorites list and we will be back. If it was that good on opening day, I can’t imagine what a nice summer evening entails.”

“So, I'm an old timer. I was a patron of the Crest Tavern in the 1980's. At the time it was a great dive-bar with yard long beer glasses & a local feel.

Now, it's an upscale establishment with great food, great beer & a local feel.

Most people that I've met here still remember the old times. I can't help but reminisce about the old days here.

Excellent menu little family style great place affordable prices, fresh food take it from a foodie…… I noticed they also have a little market of food items seems to be a one stop shop very friendly people. I’m on my eighth fresh squeezed orange juice for the season!!!! Their location is seconds from the beach…”

“My family and I have stayed here two years in a row and feel like this will be our go-to spot for a while! They are a block and a half away from the beach which is GREAT, especially with kids and beach items. Both years, we were accommodated to have first floor rooms to make it easier with the kids. There is a pool, sun deck, and even a little breakfast & lunch restaurant attached for easy meals.

They are clean and don’t smell like other musty motels along the shore!

Rooms: We had two beds, ample space and they were newly painted.

Nearby activities: It is 2 blocks from the beach! You can easily walk there And a few blocks (from a fishing and boating dock by car.

Walkability: There are sidewalks everywhere and people walk to the beach with ease from this location. We have two cafes we like that are nearby and easy to walk to as well.

Food and drinks: There is a small restaurant for breakfast and lunch on the property. Other little cafes are walking distance about two blocks!”

“First time dining at Cafe Loren. It did not disappoint. We started out with Caesar salad, which was very good. My entree was the “BLT”. Lobster, crab & bacon over pasta. It was delicious. I think it was the best entree I've had so far this summer.”

“We went for breakfast after hearing from my dad how amazing the food is and he wasn’t lying. Everything was delicious, if you like a little spice I highly recommend the fire feta avocado toast. Everything we got tasted amazing. The staff were so attentive and super friendly. The owners/staff came out and talked to each table and they know their regular customers by name. If you are looking for someplace new to eat…definitely check them out, you won’t be disappointed.”
