“The grilled octopus appetizer is always delicious. My husband had a pasta dish with bacon, shrimp, lobster in a scampi sauce and I had an Australian Sea Bass with a mango sauce over basmati rice. Both entrees were outstanding. Dessert was a rosemary infused panne cotta with raspberries - also outstanding. Our server, Michael was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, an outstanding experience. We have dined at Cafe Loren many times and the experience is consistently outstanding. Prices are fairly reasonable for the quality of the food. This is a real gem at the Jersey Shore!“

“The refreshed interior looked great & the place was packed — nice to see & great for the hardworking owners. There was a private event of 100 upstairs, sports on every TV and Quizzo game going on downstairs, plus regular dinner seating. The staff was unable to keep up with the crush even with the owner contributing at every position. We had to ask several times for missing courses, but they ultimately did deliver. Once received the food was good.“

“Delightful restaurant in the corner of the parking lot. Staff are jovial and energetic, very helpful. This place knows how to handle the volume of customers! Great menu and excellent food. “Delivery came 30 mins early, very nice. Got a chorizo burrito and churro, had to get an extra sauce to meet the minimum for delivery (I was a penny off, kind of annoying) Churro was delicious and still warm. burrito was good but not sure I'd get it again.“

“Had a great time coming here despite the weather being a bit cold. It got packed around 1130pm and there was a couple good bands playing. All in all a good time but the crowd got a bit young and to the point you couldn’t move which is not my scene anymore but to each their own!“

“Amazing restaurant! My family and I came here for breakfast and had a great experience. Our waitress, Josephine was so kind! My mother and I don’t eat sugar and they were super accommodating giving us sugar free syrup and French toast on whole wheat bread. The prices were fair and reasonable too! I would one hundred percent recommend this restaurant to everyone!“

“Started going to Mrs. Brizzles about 7 years ago. The owner Mike & his wife are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. Not only are their sandwiches huge, so are their personalities. Our entire family have made it a point to get to Mrs. Brizzles while vacationing at the Jersey Shore. You will not be disappointed! Would give them 6 stars!“
“Love the location in Townsend Inlet and close to the beach. Spacious and clean condo with room to spread out with our group. Can catch the jitney to the bars and other restaurants.“

“Update: went back 2 days later and dumpster smell was gone! I recommend this place for prompt service and consistency with good food always.
Great for a late lunch, after beach and before the drive back to Pennsylvania. The service is always prompt, great crab cake sandwich, chicken sandwiches and fries. The restaurant is clean, maintained well and a nice breeze. One note, while there, this time, we were seated to the back right and every so often could get waft of trash dumpers behind the fenced enclosure. This was the first time we noticed this. we go here several times a year, and have been going here, for many years.“

“The servers and managers are not educated with what's in the food. Got sick after going to Oar House Pub and the server saying they have a gluten option for the burgers when they don't. Ended up in the hospital and manager Amy C. can't even say simple sorry and is just an argumentative person. The person below was our server“
