“We ate there last night. It is an upscale restaurant with white table clothes. You should eat on the patio facing the marina. Two of our dishes were very good- the flounder and the lobster ravioli. They had Slacktide Pale Ale on draft, which is great. You need reservations here, even during the week (in-season.)“

“The Water Star Grille is the outdoor restaurant on the bay at the Reeds in stone Harbor. The food is expensive, but that comes with the territory. Our server was very pleasant and the quality of all the food we ordered was great. I was disappointed that you only get 6 oyster half shells for $28.....but I should have asked about quantity before ordering. I am pretty sure that I have never only received 6 oysters when ordering an iced tray of oysters before. The reason to go here for dinner is the view of the sunset over the bay for dinner outside on a beautiful summer day.“

“Stopped in while spending a long weekend at the shore. Local hot spot for sure as they still had a good crowd despite being off season. The wings are definitely a must as they were well seasoned and a nice size. I had the stuffed flounder while husband had the seafood combination. Since many of the local steakhouses were closed, we decided to give Sax a try — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our server, Patrick, was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and even made something as simple as choosing a steak knife a fun and memorable experience. He explained where the knives came from, what they were made of, and offered his favorite — such a unique touch! The food was just as impressive. I went with a mix of apps and a salad — the shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp!), perfectly seared local scallops (I was expecting three and got closer to eight!), and the truffle cheese burrata salad, which was loaded with heirloom tomatoes, arugula, basil, balsamic reduction, sea salt, and basil oil. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the New York Strip with truffle fries and grilled asparagus — a perfectly cooked, hearty steak that left him very satisfied. We left completely full and so happy with our experience. Sax exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for a special dinner spot!“

“We had a reservation for 7:15 on Valentine’s Day, arrived and checked in around 7:10, the hostess was so friendly and calm considering how packed the little vestibule area was, she said there was a little wait but we were still seated by 7:25, which was perfect. Our waitress, Kimmie was amazing! Obviously it was a very very busy night, kitchen was a little backed up, and they were out of most steaks but we were just enjoying our time together. Kimmie made sure we had a drink or food in front of us the entire time and checked in often. The bussers did a great job making rounds and clearing dishes within minutes of us being finished. We had a great experience and will be back to dine here again.“

“Charming restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. The menu has traditional dishes and comfort food. I loved how cozy the dining area was with plush booths and etched glass. I came here specifically for The Crab Au Gratin, something I rarely see on menus these days. I highly recommend pairing it with pasta in a butter garlic sauce. My husband said the fish and chips were excellent and we just came back from the UK. They had a nice kids menu and my son enjoyed the fried shrimp. The pricing was reasonable for a shore town. It's located between stone harbor and cape may. We'll return again!“

“Stopped by to pick up some shrimp for my first attempt at a seafood boil and this place had everything super fresh and the price was lower than we expected for Jersey Shore. Ended up getting 4 pounds of peeled shrimp, 2 bags of crab legs/claws and fried flounder sandwiches that were also delicious. Our boil turned out amazing all of our guests raved about it. Could have even gotten all of our produce here if we wanted to they had everything.“

“First time stopping here. Not much to look at outside but once inside the newly renovated bar is great. It is open, clean and plenty of tv's with multiple games on. Great place to watch sports. It is very loud even when it is not busy. Food was just ok. They make homade chips that are crunchy slices of potatoes with absolutely no flavor. The tuna steak sandwich is a good size of tuna but without flavor and real fishy. The salmon wrap was very good. The waitress was awesome and pleasant.“

“Started going to Mrs. Brizzles about 7 years ago. The owner Mike & his wife are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. Not only are their sandwiches huge, so are their personalities. Our entire family have made it a point to get to Mrs. Brizzles while vacationing at the Jersey Shore. You will not be disappointed! Would give them 6 stars!“

Great for a late lunch, after beach and before the drive back to Pennsylvania. The service is always prompt, great crab cake sandwich, chicken sandwiches and fries. The restaurant is clean, maintained well and a nice breeze. One note, while there, this time, we were seated to the back right and every so often could get waft of trash dumpers behind the fenced enclosure. This was the first time we noticed this. we go here several times a year, and have been going here, for many years.“

“I lived up the block when they built it, and went a handful of times. I've stopped to get a beer and some apps with my mom during the day, taking my wife to have fun after dinner, brought my friends/brothers when they visit to be loud and have fun later at night.
The bars are great at night time, depending which of the bars you're hanging out at inside the point, you'll find everything from 21-28 crowd, 28-34 crowd, 35-55 crowd, and even the 55+ers from OC/Longport getting sauced on vacation.

Noise level depends on time of day, and what bar on the inside you're at. Live music in the center, gets pretty loud, but there's a ton of places you can rope off and hang out with friends and people won't bother you at all.“

“I have been going to stone harbor pizza for years. When the Reeds took over, the pizza got considerably worse, but I was pleasantly surprised this year when they must have changed a recipe and everything tasted amazing. The restaurant has a wonderful view from the outside and the service was fantastic.“
