“My family and I visited the area to see the boat light display. We had found the Madrock Cafe on our last trip and decided a revisit was in order. They made our group of 6 including a baby feel at home right away! Our server was full of personality and good at her job! As for the food there was very little conversation around the table once the food showed!!!The beans and fish cakes are next level!! This is a great spot to eat that won’t break the bank! If you’re not in the mood to talk but have to go out with the in-laws at Christmas lol, I’d suggest you take them to the Madrock Cafe the food will save your bacon as your mouth will be too full to talk!!!”

“Mary Browns have been very busy with their batter box specials. The cars were lined up down to the road.
The chicken wasn't great the day we were there, but being a huge Mary Browns fan, I would definitely go back.”

“The ice cream was really good. The place can get very busy quickly. And the line can be quite long. The staff is pretty quick tho and try to get through the line efficiently. The parking lot is small so people will sometimes park next door.”

“I was working in Carbonear with the wildfire relief. One morning the owners of Wing'n it Bay Roberts shoed up with a donation of wings. This was an INCREDIBLE lifting of spirits of those on site. The food was full of flavour and just what everyone needed. A few days later i wen to the restaurant for lunch. The wings were fantastic and so was my server. i cannot recommend this place enough and want to give a very loud thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Plus these paper straws at McDonald's are the lowest quality. Come on McDonald's please give napkins and 2 straws for every drink. We shouldn't have to beg for this stuff.”

“There’s no “substitute” for a great sub, and if a great sub is what you’re looking for, look no further than the Bay Robert’s Subway. Clean, well stocked and with a very polite and friendly staff, this certainly was a pleasant meal! They did not have tuna made up but no one is perfect. Highly recommend. Best meal of my life.”

“Got a banana split. Absolutely massive. 3 HEAPING scoops of ice cream. Perfectly chopped square pineapple pieces. Perfectly halved and de-stemmed strawberries. PERFECTLY halved banana on top of perfectly displayed whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Absolutely amazing. Delicious and beautiful. Not to mention amazing, quick service, and cheap prices.”

“We all enjoyed our icecream! We tried the twist cone, chocolate chip cookie dough, blueberry bliss, and the peaches & cream milkshake which stole the show! It was SO good! It can be a little hectic when ordering but they have a good system going. Friendly employees too!”

“Larissa provided us with excellent customer service. Food in general was tasting good, order was accurate thanks to the cooking team in the back. It was not a problem when I accidentally made a small spill with my fountain pop when moving it to try to get it to a table to place the lid on and my nerves pinched and hand jerked and the small slosh ended upon the ground. I was merely trying to get out of the way for the next customer enroute to fill their cups. As a person with disability and having the Shakey hand, it can be embarrassing or inconvenience to others when such an issue arises.Larissa treated it with positive regard to provide a stigma free response and attended promptly with the mop.I enjoyed how fast the food was made, the taste and crispy texture, along with great front end service during this encounter.

Parking: There is a drive thru that loops the building, but there is a good number of on site parking spots. I believe there are accessible spots, but I could be wrong, but I believe there was an accessible door or very least no threshold to step over or upto.”
