We had an absolutely incredible experience last weekend at the Wine Cellar. Our server, Ashley was fantastic and the meal was amazing. We had the tenderloin special and it was cooked to perfection. The opera cake for dessert was a real treat too. Can’t wait to come back!
The food here was fantastic. Definitely get the steaks.
Good food but the highlight is the place itself.

The Wine Cellar offers a fine dining experience with delicious and seasonal food, including the tender rib and Newfoundland fare featuring beer battered cod, cod tongues, and dessert tarts. Although it may be a bit pricey, the attentive staff and timely service, which has been noted as good and extraordinary, make it worth the cost. The homemade garlic bread with whipped butter is particularly praised for being soft and flavorful.
While some dishes, like the ribeye steak and truffle mushroom pasta, received mixed reviews, the restaurant still serves well-executed meals, such as the special 7oz steak with truffle fries and perfectly cooked vegetables. However, there have been some complaints about rushed service and bland dishes. The wine selection may be limited, but overall, The Wine Cellar remains a hidden gem for a special occasion, with a cosy and intimate atmosphere that adds to the dining experience.
