“Dairy Queen is a personal favorite of mine, I love their blizzards, and they're always generous with the toppings/filling.This location in particular is a little busy sometimes, but they're quick, so you won't be waiting too long.I did have a little trouble last time I dropped by, we ordered a misty float (slushie with ice cream), but they gave us -- and charged us -- for a misty freeze (just a slushie, no ice cream). Although it was dissapointing, it was still yummy, and it only ever happened once.Luckily, it's not often their ice cream machine is broken, and they have new flavors every now and again which are always amazing.I've also had their chicken and fries, the chicken is absolutely amazing and the fries are good, but nothing crazy. They have a deal on sometimes that makes it more than worth your money.The staff is really sweet too, I know it's policy but they flip your icecream upsidedown and most importantly are very polite.“

“First had Five Guys in Florida, so I was looking forward to them coming here. The staff are friendly, courteous, and the food is always great. Although it's a little more expensive than your typical chain restaurant, Five Guys never disappoints. Keep up the great work folks. ??“
“I went there to pick up some takeout, I walked around sizing the place up. This is a very cozy little restaurant. The food is homemade and and second to none. The employees are very friendly and courteous. The food was ready ahead of the estimated wait time.Next time I will be dining in. “Blaze Pizza is a 2-minute walk from Avalon Mall and being away from the main mall, wasn't all that crowded when we visited. This was my first time to a place where you can customise pizza the way you like and I loved the idea!We ordered a large Green Stripe pizza and it was lovely. With spice pizza sauce, pesto and arugula, the pizza was zesty and savoury. The crust - which we ordered with extra cheese - had a good chew and crunch at the ends. We also ordered a regular drink - you get a cup which you can refill from a fountain as much as you want! You can choose your crust for regular-sized pizzas, but this cannot be done for a large pizza.The atmosphere is okay without any bells or whistles. The place is clean. The people here are helpful. What I liked here is the slice boxes - you can use them to take separate slices along with you.Overall, a good place to douse a pizza craving and would recommend!“

“I love the chicken chips dressing and gravy its nothing else like it. Delicious. I think I gave a fair score. The service is very good. Usually its a more mature woman there who is perfect she would get a 5 but sometimes if its someone different they don't quite help out as good and to give s 5 things would need to be totally perfect in trying to help me but sometimes other people than the main woman who serves me and things wouldn't be smooth with that said lately things were always great. If it keeps up I might give all 5s“
“I am not one to do reviews on a literal McDonald’s. however, the service, the flooring, and even the fried were perfectly salted and the burger was actually perfectly stacked. It may have took awhile to receive our food, but it was worth it.Vegetarian options: Lettuce.Kid-friendliness: Happy meal.“

“This was a great space for a little snack after doing some shopping on Kenmount Road. This was the first time that I had been there but definitely not the last. The staff were extremely helpful, the food was better than I expected and the place was extremely clean. I do not eat at a lot of these places but it is always great when the place exceeds my expectations. And there was a lot of parking. Great place.“
“The number one, best Wendy's in St John's.....staff are always friendly, always courteous and always able to take a joke ( I tend to not have a filter most times whether I'm home or in public, so sarcasm is somewhat strong with me ). Not from the city but, every time I'm in town, I always make it a point to get to Wendy's here on Kenmount Road for a Baconator and Chili Fries, and a few extra baconators to take back home for myself, the wife and the kids ( that's if the wife and kids aren't with me, of course ). As long as they are open, and I'm traveling in and out of St. John's, I plan on ALWAYS stopping here for my baconator fix.Parking: Lots of parking, just off of Kenmount Road across from the mall. Never ever had an issue tryin' to find a spot to park no matter how busy they are.“
“This McDonald's has great full time staff who will treat you well. The coffee always taste good and mixed right. Food is usually done right except occasionally the wrong topping might be on the burger but overall they do good. Definitely recommend this location.“
