Huge shoutout to Elaine at the front desk for going above and beyond when I accidentally left something of high personal value in my hotel room. She immediately took me seriously, paused what she was doing, and personally went up to the room to check for and retrieve the item so I could come pick it up! Truly appreciated ~ thank you, Elaine!

I must first give a hands up to the hearty customer service; the ladies were awesome real care givers - thank you. However i must say that the food quality, except the seafood chowder, was below average. In fact, judging by other restaurants in St Johns i went to, i was disappointed that i did not see an explosion of good seafood offering. It was more of the same standard burger and beer offering. Not expected from a region that prides itself on fishing.

Breakfast was delicious except for the eggs being over hard instead of over easy as requested. They had a good selection of jams, jellies, peanut butter, and even cheez whiz. Service was fast and friendly and the setting was comfortable. Love how they bring a carafe of coffee to the table.
