When you visit Twillingate at the end of September, there’s not much left open! We were sure glad Georgie’s stays open!! The food was excellent and the service friendly and attentive. The star of the show for us had to be the mussels! You’ll need to order extra bread for the broth. Yum. And I can’t forget to mention their dessert take on the Touton. Absolutely delicious.
We have Been traveling around NFL restaurants staff have been so friendly and fun. NOT at Georgies. They seemed annoyed we were there even though we had a reservation. FOOD was good, wine list not great.
suggest if you have other options, take them. The food was meh at best - chicken souvlaki was dry and the rice was plain minute rice with some herb sprinkled on top. Fish was soggy in fish and chips and the fries were overcooked. Side salad was nice with a homemade dressing - highlight of the meal. $80 we wish we could get back - grilled cheese and soup at airbnb would have been...
