“Upon moving to Alamogordo in 2021, Our Country Kitchen was the first restaurant in town my two sons and I ate at and it remains. Friendly city that Alamogordo is, I have since gotten to know the owners, who are great folks! This is a restaurant who appreciates their customers and gives back to the city, often donating to and hosting local charities. Our Country Kitchen has great home town atmosphere which is rare these days, food is good old-fashioned country cooking and portions are quite large and reasonably priced. They treat their employees like family and it shows in their attitudes.“

“Absolutely love their vegetable burritos!! They even sear the burritos closed with a slice of cheese on the grill. The guacamole and chips are made to order and are just sooo soooo good!! The staff is nice and they are relatively quick . To locate the truck amongst all the other trucks- you can tell which truck it is because it has a picture of Guadalupe on the side of their truck. There is nowhere to sit by the truck but you can cross the street along the wharf and try and find a nice spot to sit and dine. Personally I just take everything to go. I'm“

“We were greeted and seated immediately but after that the service was a bit slow and not very attentive. The server only came by the table to take drink orders, bring the drinks, take the meal order and drop it off. She didn’t ever check back on us and we had to flag her down for the check. However, the food was delicious, seasoned well, and came out exceptionally quick.“

“Always fresh and very generous servings I always love getting food from this place. The food is always fresh and the serving sizes are so great. I have literally bought a two entree plate that had enough food to feed me, my husband, and still had some rice or noodles left over. The prices are affordable, especially with the serving sizes they offer. I recommend the orange chicken and the mushroom chicken.“

“My fave place to go for a smothered breakfast burrito. Also, their fried catfish is very tasty and homemade tartar sauce is good. In fact, this is the only place I will eat tartar sauce on my fish, usually not a fan of it. Very busy place and food is made fresh so you may have to wait a bit for your meal to arrive, but the wait is well worth it!!“

“We stopped here on our roadtrip to Texas, and were looking for a large dinner before continuing through the night. The staff were very attentive and kind, and were actively checking with the customers in an evenly distributed effort. The food was AMAZING! They even did a little thing for my mother as it was Mother’s Day (God bless her soul) and the meal was eaten in a matter of minutes. The bathrooms could use a redesign, or maybe expanded, honestly I would’ve gone outside if it wasn’t a 2. The wait was unexpectedly long, about 45 minutes of sitting and talking. I definitely recommend ordering ahead and taking to-go, but other than that, food is great!“

“We hadn’t been to Thai Cuisine for a few years and stopped for lunch. Our waitress was friendly and very accommodating. We had the vegetarian Pad Thai and both egg and hot sour soups. Everything was excellent. The chef made our taste buds smile and we'll be returning customers. :-) :-)“

“After watching the sunset from Baisha, we went to smiley’s cafe for dinner. We got there very late, almost 8:40. The store actually closes at nine o'clock, so we arrived a little late. But the boss was very enthusiastic and let us dine in. Although the restaurant is American-style Chinese food, it is the best American-style Chinese food I have ever eaten (it has many more choices than Panda Express, the taste is also very good, and the price is very affordable). The fried rice noodles are especially delicious! If you pass by Alamogordo, you can give it a try. What was particularly touching was that we wanted to drink hot and sour soup, but it was almost closed, and the boss even made one for us. Highly recommended, thank you ?“

“I normally love Chili’s but this particular location has super slow service and rude wait staff. Took forever to get an eight piece boneless wings to the table. I’ll say they were hot when delivered and they were good. But it should have been matched with equally good execution and service. “Pizza is good , the only thing that really bugs me is that they deliver to my street only if you place an order by the phone , not online , because their system can’t see my street online . By doing that I can’t use my rewards or coupons , so I always have to go pick it up or go to the hotspot and meet the driver there .“
