“THIS RESTAURANT IS AMAZING. THE FOOD IS FRESH AND DELICIOUS. I AM A VEGAN AND THE WAITRESS WAS SO COOL AND BROUGHT ME A WONDERFUL MEAL THAT HAD NO ANIMAL CRUELTY ON THE PLATE. THE BEANS AND TORTILLAS WERE HOT AND THE SALAD CRISP AND MADE WITH FRESH TOMATOES. HER HELPER THAT DAY WAS A SWEET KID WITH A LOT OF GRACE. THANK YOU RUIDOSO FOR STEPPING UP YOUR GAME. “Absolutely amazing meal. I had the New York strip. Easily one of the top 5 steaks I’ve ever had. Wife had the vegan enchiladas that were delicious. We shared a stuffed avocado and breaded Chile strips. Two new dishes that knocked our socks off. Staff were very friendly, responsive, and made frequent checks. The owner was engaging and very friendly. Absolutely on our return next year for our anniversary trip restaurant list!“

“We were lucky enough to get the last unreserved table for Valentine’s Day and I could not be happier! Our server, Michelle, was so sweet and accommodating even on a busy night! Every course was delicious, with real fresh ingredients that could be tasted in every bite! I highly recommend Michael J’s while you’re in Ruidoso!“

“We’re locals and this is kind of our go to place to eat lunch/dinner. We’re always seated promptly with great personalities. The store is always super clean. The tables are bussed promptly. The people are very friendly and tentative. The order is always correct. The food is always spot on. Very good. And a great portion. And the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment.“
