“Trash bizcochitos that taste like sand. Way overpriced for average food. You can get the same quality in any Walmart bakery. Also the person who responds on Google decides that bad reviews must be lies. Call me a plebian with no taste if you can't handle criticism after 55 years in the business but don't pretend that there's no possible way someone couldn't like your dismal food so they must be lying. Go literally anywhere else for bizcochitos or coffee milkshakes or empanadas and you'll be doing better. If you just want to support local, you can't go wrong here.“

“I decided to try a new local restaurant for breakfast today and had heard really good things about Mick's Chile Fix, and since I was looking for a good chile fix I decided to try it. This place is awesome. I ordered takeout but the diner was super quaint and comfortable, it looked like a fantastic place to have brunch and it smelled amazing! The little gift store they had on the side was super cute too. I ordered a regular sausage breakfast burrito smothered in red and the portions they gave me were absolutely massive. Definitely a 2-day breakfast. The red chile is really rich and flavorful, I'd say a medium heat with enough kick to make my nose run, and the meal was delicious. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking to support a local Mom&Pop-style restaurant while getting Grade-A+ New Mexican food at the same time. Will have to try the rest of their menu.“

We just had dinner delivered to our home, and the food was cooked to perfection, the recipes were amazing, and this restaurant is now our top go-to when we want Italian food! When a picky toddler eats enthusiastically and for the first time insists that her leftovers be saved for later, AND similarly picky adults inhale their dinner, there can be no higher praise! The taste reminded me, an "old fogey," of how restaurant food USED to taste... the old deliciousness that has been lost in most places. “I have lived in the area for four years and have never visited. I finally dropped in this week to order a sandwich. Unfortunately, they stop serving sandwiches after 5 PM. However, they were super gracious and offered me a generous sample of bread with delicious honey butter. I purchased their blue ribbon, blueberry coffee cake, which was reasonably priced as as well as delicious. It was frankly the best pastry I’ve ever had in the city. In addition to their friendly service and delicious bread and pastries, they also have a great selection of mustard, honey, as well as pancake mix and all sorts of other goodies. I will definitely be back for sandwiches at a reasonable hour. I highly recommend this place.“

“Our waiter was very nice. He took the effort to make sure everything was good to our satisfaction. I did not eat my salad I ordered. He asked if for some reason I did not like the salad. It had nothing to do with my waiter or the restaurant. I did not know what kind of lettuce was used. I should have asked. I medically can not eat roman lettuce. Everything was wonderful. We were a little worried about getting in because of it being New Years eve. We did pick your restaurant for our New Years Eve dinner because we have always had such great service and food.“

As soon as you walk in, you’ll find the menu conveniently displayed at the entrance so you can decide what to order before reaching the counter. The setup has a charming bakery-style café vibe with plenty of seating, a self-serve coffee station, and large open windows that let you enjoy the view while you eat. The atmosphere feels cozy and relaxing—just what you need to start your day or take a break from traveling. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of comforting flavors. Overall, a wonderful little stop that made our morning feel calm and enjoyable before getting back on the road.“

“Almost everything can be made vegan (or is clearly labeled vegan). I eat here frequently as a local. They also don't use any eggs, and I'm pretty sure no honey, either (though it would be good to double-check). I really love their cauliflower tacos (using dosa), south indian sampler, mumbai frankie, cardamom waffles, and quesadilla with chapati bread. Their Chai lattes are also delightfully worthwhile. Note that a few things are somewhat hit-or-miss. For example, I find the falafel kind of dry. I haven't always liked their pies as they can be on the dry side and lacking flavor, but some of their recent cupcakes are delicious. If you eat in, note that they can be extremely slow. They make everything from scratch. Otherwise, it's a great environment to chill or get some work done. The interior is cozy and well-decorated. I deducted one star just because a handful of items on the menu are too dry or not as tastey as some of the other items on the menu. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-20“

“Cannot recommend this place enough. Firstly, I had to change a pickup order to a delivery order and they were extremely accommodating. Secondly, the delivery was unfortunately stolen by a 3rd party delivery app, no fault of Nothing Bundt Cakes, and yet they were able to get me another cake at the last minute for no extra charge. To top it all off, the cake was absolutely delicious. It was an overall wonderful experience, and I will definitely come back in the future.

I wish I could remember the name of the employee that helped me. She was working on the evening of 1/23/26. Everyone on that shift should be given special commendation.“

“Flying star has a special place in my heart since high school when it used to be double rainbow. They have the best desserts and whenever I come back to Albuquerque, it’s a definite treat. I even signed up for their loyalty program. I love throughout the years that they maintained a staff that is always super down to earth and cordial tonight I picked up some desserts to go and the attentive young fellow noticed that there had been an error and fixed it right away. Not that they’ve ever gotten any of my orders wrong but I appreciated his attentiveness as I would’ve been super bummed to have received the wrong item. I do miss the wider variety of cakes that they used to have in the past, but they also did add some stellar new desserts, particularly the strawberry rhubarb because there’s no other place in the country where I’ve had a pie that’s managed to master keeping the rhubarb. I don’t know how to explain it al dente and it’s awesome. I don’t even know where the hell they find fresh rhubarb this time of year! Oh my God it still.“

“This is the best service and order I have ever gotten from EBB. I’ve been to several other locations and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it when an order is correct. The young man made my order to perfection and when I was leaving he even rushed to open the door for me. (I have a dry mouth from medications so the 2 tomatoes on each half of my bagel is so important. Most locations mess that up but he got it perfect!). Then as I waited outside for my Uber, a homeless lady was in front of me and yelling and carrying on…low and behold the owner/manager came out to stand with me to ensure I was safe. These two gestures make all the difference. I tried to call to thank them and ask for names but got no answer. So to you two men…tysm! You both are appreciated so much and I will be back.“
