This pie was so satisfying and delicious. The crusty rustic crunch paired with the bright tomato sauce is magic. The pepperoni not over salted and the cheese not overbearing. Every bite… a symphony on your tastebuds. Not only does this pizza taste nostalgic to the pizza you find in NY and Brooklyn, but the ambience at night when you go in an order , makes you feel time capsuled somewhere in little Italy .

Also the person who responds on Google decides that bad reviews must be lies. Call me a plebian with no taste if you can't handle criticism after 55 years in the business but don't pretend that there's no possible way someone couldn't like your dismal food so they must be lying. Go literally anywhere else for bizcochitos or coffee milkshakes or empanadas and you'll be doing better. If you just want to support local, you can't go wrong here.“

“Long wait to be seated, considering we had a reservation. Check-in staff poorly organized and confused. Waitress overwhelmed and unatentive for basic check-ins. (Would've liked a little more tea). Manager supported her but we had to get our own utensils after food was served and then hunt down steak knives. Seemed like an overall lack of organization and communication. Just tired of the overused and undersolved excuse of being understaffed. Thankfully, all four meals were delicious.“

Our appetizer Bat & Ball was absolutely Delicious. the sausage and meatballs are made in house with bold savory and mouthwatering seasoning, cooked perfect. My Diablo shrimp was tasty with a spicy kick. great portion too! my husband devoured his chicken piccata! then on top dessert. we had cannolis. We just had dinner delivered to our home, and the food was cooked to perfection, the recipes were amazing, and this restaurant is now our top go-to when we want Italian food! When a picky toddler eats enthusiastically and for the first time insists that her leftovers be saved for later, AND similarly picky adults inhale their dinner, there can be no higher praise! The taste reminded me, an "old fogey," of how restaurant food USED to taste... the old deliciousness that has been lost in most places. If you want that sense of being lavished on with love through food... try this place!“

“I LOVED IT! I had not been here for years. I used to get it about once a month when I was growing up. We randomly got it one day and it was the best pizza we had in such a long time. I got the supreme and then a make my own sausage and mushroom pizza. So worth the price! I also added on the cinnamon dessert and it was just perfect. The pizza is not insanely greasy and you can have three pieces without feeling sick. I loved the customer service and I will definitely come back!“

Got a new hint from a friend that if you are picking up salad to take home ask for all the tomatoes, cheese and other add in to be on the side. That way your salad is not soggy when you get it home in 1 1/2 hours . I live down west of Estancia.“

“My favorite item is the Italian Sub. Half the time I get the chips half the time I get the fruit cup. I usually get a large Arnold Palmer with sweet tea. Sometimes I get a pizza and salad but most of the time it is this sub with the Greek dressing. The staff are very friendly, fast, and work well with each other it seems. The restroom was clean when I went into it. And there was a cashier that went out and wipe down the tables that were empty while I was eating. That is always nice to see being done. Period guest come and go about every half hour or so so having the tables wipe down often, it’s nice. I have been to other places but love Dion’s. The amount of food and the price is great here compared to other places I have tried.“
