“Really good green chile (spicy) and healthy portions. My wife and I had omelets and we both really enjoyed them. Old school diner with friendly wait staff and good salsa!“

“Very good food (some homemade), excellent service, very reasonable prices. Our waitress wore a pink bow in her hair and a cancer survivor t-shirt. She took great care of us.“

“I had the special sandwich, the Rachel, their take on a Reuben. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life. Ingredients tasted very fresh, lots of meat, super tasty.
Our server was very nice and attentive.
I wish this place was in my hometown, I'd come back often.“

“My wife and I were looking for somewhere local to eat coming back from a west coast road trip. It was later in the evening and she found this place, so we stopped on in. EXCELLENT decision.
Food here is beyond awesome. The bread was delicious and everything was fresh and plentiful. Do NOT order a footlong because they pile these high haha. They certainly aren’t stingy with the ingredients
The apple fritter was legit too! Stop in here for sure and give this place a shot. I am very happy we did.“

“Picked up big fry breads & roasted green chile to go when we were traveling thru on 40- they offer free honey & hot broth to go with the fry bread if wanted- little unpretentious place off the main route but well worth it for authentic fry bread!“

“Stopped by Earl’s while traveling along historic Route 66 in Gallup, and it was a fun place to experience. The service was quick, attentive, and friendly from start to finish, and the festive atmosphere gave the restaurant a welcoming local feel.
One unique touch was that local Native American artisans stopped by the tables to offer handmade jewelry and artwork, making the visit feel like more than just a meal.
The food was average overall. The salsa leaned sweeter than I prefer, and the green chile was fairly mild and lacked the flavor I was hoping for. On the plus side, the ranch dressing was delicious and paired well with the meal.
If you’re looking for a convenient stop with fast service, a lively atmosphere, and a chance to support local artists while traveling Route 66, Earl’s is worth checking out.“

“If you’re looking for authentic flavor and heartfelt hospitality, Cheii’s Restaurant is the place to go. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like family. Friendly, attentive, and full of genuine warmth, the entire team goes out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable and well taken care of.
At Cheii’s every dish is cooked with tradition and pride. The steaks & lamb dishes are rich and satisfying, the frybread is perfectly golden and fluffy (amazing with honey), and the green chile packs the right amount of heat and soul. You can taste the love in every bite.
A special shout out to Crystal, Keisha & Alexis!!!“

“From the moment you step inside, Grandpa’s Grill welcomes you with its rustic Route 66–inspired décor, featuring quirky antiques and vintage signage.
Don’t pass up on one of the Burgers, they are all char‑grilled over live mesquite coals, juicy, flavorful, and expertly seasoned.
The portions are very generous and the food is reasonably priced.“
