Lenah, Rosie, and Emma at the bar are PHENOMENAL. Seriously great and friendly service and above and beyond. (L, I am so sorry if I spelled your name wrong!)Reminds me of the old school Marriott bars in the 80s and 90s. Worth coming by just to hang here. Highly recommended!!!
Apparently this "tables in the open lobby" concept is common to Marriotts. I am not a fan. It is noisy, cold/drafty, and I don't enjoy being on display to all and sundry. The "open seating" concept means that you find someplace to sit, then hope you get noticed. That is not a criticism of the staff. They are doing their best under the circumstances. A lovely and pleasing dinner at the Marriott. The espresso martini as delivered by the staff was sweet and chocolatey; tasty enough that you won't want to put it down, and a welcome refreshment for a traveller.Service was prompt and attentive without being overbearing, and the food came out quickly. I was glad for the meal, pleasant atmosphere, and a nice room just upstairs.
