When my wife and I arrived we were greeted by a pleasant hostess and our waiter, Gabe, was friendly and attentive. We had an appetizer and a drink and decided to order our entrees to take home. For the second order in a row, Little Anita's, in Old Town, has messed up the order. Today they provided slimy lettuce on a Green Chili burger. Luckily, due to a Gluten intolerance, the burger was ordered with no bun. Otherwise, I would have missed the slime and probably be writing this...read full review

Greeted as I entered by a friendly welcoming staff, quickly seated and brought water, fresh brewed iced tea and as I gazed the menu I found things I had never tried before, the staff answering any questions I had and very willing to accommodate my hunger, ordering Huevos Rancheros, with side sopapilla, it was absolutely delicious, I had asked what a stuffed sopapilla was they explained, but I did not order one as it contained mushroom, staff made me a...read full review
Took money from card and then said they had a system issue. Asked to run card again but all money was taken from the account. Refused to help or even make order. Have to now wait for bank to open in the morning to dispute charge. Never going here again.

Little Anita's New Mexican Food offers tasty meals, such as their handheld burrito with eggs, cheese, and hash browns with red chili. The restaurant's ambiance is enhanced by flower paintings, although the seating arrangement can sometimes cause minor inconveniences. Customers praise the friendly and welcoming staff, who are willing to accommodate special requests. The Huevos Rancheros and green chile chicken enchiladas are highlighted as delicious dishes, with the option to add extra cheese. Some customers mention that the breakfast sausage burrito lacks flavor, as the sausage does not taste much, and note that sopapillas are only made after 10:00 AM, which can be inconvenient. Others find the food always great, and the location is appreciated for being nicer than the one in Corrales. Visitors from far away have enjoyed the cheese enchiladas with red and green chili, describing them as awesome, and have appreciated the ice-cold beer and friendly staff. However, some note that the restaurant's hours can be inconsistent, so calling ahead is recommended to ensure they are open. Overall, Little Anita's provides a great dining experience with flavorful New Mexican cuisine and attentive service.
