My friends had been telling me about Saigon City Restaurant for a while-I had been looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant with no success. I finally managed to stop by for lunch with a friend after getting our nails done. We really enjoyed our food! I'm from San Diego, which has some amazing Vietnamese restaurants, and this reminded me of home. The food was full of flavor, the textures were amazing, and the presentation was 10/10. They have a variety on their menu, but some of the best local Vietnamese food. The is plenty of sitting room & the service is welcoming and Very Friendly . Their soups & Pho are delicious, but I love their rice dishes too. We always get their fried Imperial egg rolls, they’re crispy and crunchier than the veggie alternatives. Not much a a noodle fan, except for the vermicelli noodle dishes , absolutely filling and full of flavor and fresh vegetables, always.

Dropped in for a snack before a movie. Service was quick. We ordered spring rolls and chicken wings. The rolls were freshly made and tasted good with the fish sauce and peanut sauce. The fried chicken wings were hot and served with spices and grilled jalapenos. We will be back to try pho and other dishes.The owner(chef?) came out and asked if we liked everything, we had no complaints!
