“Small town restaurant with MEGA HUGE flavors. It's specializes in Mexican, Salvadorian and American cuisine. Everything from tacos to pupusas to burgers and in between. You walk in get that very homey feel. You sit down they greet you with menus and ask you what you want to drink. I ordered the Menudo a Mexican staple. If you ever go to a down home Mexican restaurant like this and they have Menudo you must try it. Cause it's a great judge of how the restaurant fairs (at least in my opinion). It came out in a nice big bowl with a side of chopped onions and lemon with a basket of crackers. The broth was a earthy tone in color which is exactly what you want to see. It had big pieces of tripe in it and a great amount of hominy as well. One bite and it was exploding with flavor. No to spicy but just the right amount of heat that you would expect. The tripe cooked beautifully and the hominy delicious as well. My father got the pupusas plate and he tore it up as well. We both very much enjoyed ourselves and I'd ask my father to take me back next time I go for a home visit.“

“New Mexican diner faire, some Italian and even middle eastern offerings. French fries are hand cut, fried meats are hand-breaded. Good hummous. One of the absolute best burgers in Hurley/Bayard/Deming/Silver. Simple soups made from scratch. The restaurant is not often busy these days, but the chef and proprietor is also managing the convenient store, motel and storage lot in back. He makes it look effortless to put love into everything he touches, is from an engineering and business background: can carry many conversations and is otherwise quietly serving via unwaivering, exact process. Lurk this act for as long as you would like. Views abound, coffee fresh, interior decor from Matlock.“

“been eating there since opened. 2-3 times a week. now they have a good crew and managers. people like Hunter make going there a pleasant experience.“

“Had lunch here and was a pleasant experience. Husband had cheese enchiladas and serving was huge with great rice and good beans. I had patty melt which was really well cooked. Fries were a little under done for my taste but still really good. Plenty to eat at a reasonable price. As to service, very pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere was good and welcoming. Salad bar looked really good and we will be sure to try it next time. Best of all food was hot when we got it! Good job!👍“
